I bought this back in 2017 and I've just seen the price is 599 on prime day. Logged in here to check back what I had paid at the time as i thought i posted at the time - Havent tracked the price recently but this looks like a mega deal.

It is a mega deal great spot. Shame I don't have the money now would have been all over this, you can't even find this model used at this price. Hope it will be this price next year as well.

32" variant can be had for £383 on ebay with the "Party" discount too. Just bought it so I hope it's good haha
Great deal but got no room at the inn
Seems a bit overkill ;need a 27inch 144hz freesync
I have this monitor and it has so much light bleed, I'm really surprised at the lack of quality with monitors. I've had a look at a few and there were al pretty bad, I only went for this one because it was cheapest. Even the Predator one I saw that was over £1000 was bad picture quality wise. I did come back from an iMac though which had an amazing screen.... but you get what you pay for, the iMac was almost £3000 at the time.
I have this monitor. Great price now. I hear what people are saying about the light bleed and resolution etc. But honestly, you're best not to be too picky and just enjoy the huge screen. It's ace. I love it.
wait for 49wl95c-w if you want to dish some cash. otherwise be disappointed
Its a fantastic deal but I cant get past the 1080p. I went for the 35" AOC Agon ag352ucg6 from yesterday's deal at £560. Not HDR but its 1440p

Dell Alienware 34" Curved UltraWide is where it's
Great, thanks. Fed up of having to scroll my Excel documents. No more.

It's possible to get a good monitor these days if you stay away from cutting edge features. No curves, no high refresh rates, no ratios other than 16:9 or 16:10. Try a dell ultrasharp with premiercolor for instance. Sure you'll pay twice or three times more than a basic monitor in the same form factor would cost, but all the extra money goes into panel quality and QA/QC.

1080P must look rank at that size a panel.
Samsung C49RG90 49 is the 1440p version.
How does media/YouTube look on this
I have two 32inch Monitors side by side at my work, would this be better?..i don't suppose i can move stuff the right hand side with this..

But that's nowhere near as wide. It's a completely different product.

Yeah that's what I use it for having 2 spreadsheets open at the same time alongside each other
Can you use two inputs at once and split the screen? I.e can I have an Xbox and a a PC plugged in at once and have one on each half?

Yes
That's 4 feet 1 inches diagonal if anyone wondered!

I ordered a double bed frame that is 4 feet wide. Any suggestions for the headboard? TV?

For £600 you bet I'm going to be picky. Being 49" doesn't excuse poor quality control. Strong backlight bleed would be cause for a return.
I think Samsung monitors in general have light bleed problems (maybe other brands as well??). I have another SS ultrawide 1440 Quantum Dot. The light bleed around the corners in dark scene just make me want to cry. It looks fine otherwise TBH.

Bleed is a problem with most displays. I really hate buying anything with a display.

Woo! Let's hope they work flawlessly
Got mine yesterday, installed today, its massive, spent hours trying to get it to work with my desk mount but can't take the weight and keeps dropping down so endes up using the stand.

Currently playing around with the refresh rate in windows to get it to recognise beyond 60hz as I understand monitor should take 120hz over hdmi

From the description it says..

Equivalent to two 27" 16:9 monitors side by side, the 32:9 super ultra-wide screen provides the ultimate in multitasking flexibility. Forget aboutmulti-monitor set-ups — with no bezels impeding your view and a single power cable for minimal clutter, you can multitask in truly seamless style.
