Here is a review from av forums avforums.com/rev…659

I was reading in a forum a little while back when a Sony was on offer on here and it wasn't clear on whether it was 10 bit or not and some seemingly expert poster said not to go for anything less than the 7000, go for more if you have the money I suppose but it seems pretty solid I'd say for the next 5 years or so.

8+2 bit.

Would be better off getting from either John Lewis or Richer Sounds for the extended warranty included.

Agreed. 8bit panel and I would buy from Richer Sounds for the 6 year warranty.

It says 10 in the review though. First paragraph. Also on John Lewis and anywhere else.

It is 10 Bit.

Excellent deal atm, however Black Friday looms and it could go sub 900.

I got the 49 ks8000 for 1299 from JL

I am looking at this Tv, its the best price so far for this TV. The trust pilot reviews are not great for this company. I am not to bothered about the warranty for an extra £100+

It is an 8 bit panel but it does have Frame Rate Control technology, that flashes two colours together very quickly to give a third colour that the panel wouldn't normally display this gives it a colour pallete of a 10 bit panel. The tv does get decent reviews but the HDR is being described as hit and miss on one i read.

a great deal not sure why the cold votes.. some people just vote without even knowing about the item unfortunately. this is a 1200-1300 tv people! i am personally after the 55" KS8000 so im waiting for a sub £1000 price on that

I've personally been interest in LG Oled 4k tv's, waiting my opportunity to catch a deal. Preferably i would want the better to best model. Though i'm not paying 4 grand for a tv that will be half or less the price in 9 months to a year. Twenty second google search OLED55B6V £2250. Though i would prefer a better model E or G ...

been doing a lot of research this week as im in the hunt for a nice new 4k tv to compliment the ps4 pro next month.. the KS7000 and KS8000 are near enough identical performance wise except the KS8000's screen is able to get brighter, which in return provides slightly better HDR.

im also very interested in the LG OLED tvs.. the more i research the more i seem to be willing to spend haha i wouldnt go for the B6 model as the EG9600 (last years OLED) is still a great tv at HALF the price of the new B,C,E models (all the same except C6 is curved, E6 has built in soundbar)

im personally hoping for a EG9600 bargain on black friday.. otherwise it will be the KS7000 or KS8000

Playstation 4 Pro and a 4k tv ... That's why im in it at the moment as you. Black Friday it is then

I have done plenty of research into buying a new 4K TV, specifically for the ps4 pro but also to be fairly future-proof and a solid performer for watching TV and films, and this is the TV model to get if you're after best performance for the best value.

This TV is the unks8000 in the US, which gets incredible reviews. For some odd reason, over here and in Europe, all of samsungs models are 1000 less?!? Therefore the ks8000 over here is actually the ks9000 in the US. Ikr!

Anyway, this is definitely a bonfide 10 bit panel regardless of screen size, and come Black Friday I'll defo be in the lookout for the 55". The rule is bigger the better when it comes to 4K, especially utilising HDR for gaming, but 60" is just too damn big for my living room.

And if anybody is interested in an incredibly helpful and knowledgeable review (along with the multiple model numbers for the doubters, towards the bottom of the review) give this a read...

TV seems to be really good.
was looking at 55inch telly's and from.reviews and spec alone the 7000 series in the UK seem to be a good choice. was also looking at hisense 55m7000 as well.

forgot to state another big reason i would rather the KS8000 is because the stand and design are FAR superior. the KS7000 has a lot of issues where the back plastic starts coming away as the glue gets hot and the feet are either end which sucks to me. the KS8000 has a different back panel and has a much better centred stand!

seriously think the tv im gonna get now is the KS8000.. OLED can wait 5 years it will be something even better by then lol looking forward to the PS4 pro coming so i can play a few weeks on my 1080p tv then switch to the 4K and be amazed feel free to add my PSN by the way: Chelseapaul
