Cheapest I've seen for a TV with these specs, would be the one i'd buy for myself if funds where available.
Seen it cheaper at ebuyer.com but a 5 year warranty for an extra £10er is a hotter deal for me.
Plus 3 months Now TV entertainment pass.

Is this 'proper' 4k or rgbw?
It's 4k I think it's only LG that do the rgbw

Heat; shame about the silver bevel tho... makes it look cheap...

Personal preference and taste. I personally think that the black plastic ones look cheap and tacky. Our dark silver hisense frames the picture perfectly and makes the screen look even bigger, even when it's already 55"!

Same here silver/dark grey all look more high end (even tho they're probably the exact same plastic!)

But for me it's got to be the Y shape stand, I'd have a hisense if it didn't mean buying a new TV stand to fit it on!

Y shape stand would be no good for us with small children around the house. Our hisense has two feet so stability is great! Also I may be wrong here but our bezel feels like metal rather than plastic...
Sweet, cheaper than it was in store yesterday.

True. Personal preference. Heat for price
I have this TV have few lil issues and back light blead is pretty bad at corners during dark scenes BUT is best you will find for the money and in general a great picture sound is very good too no need for a sound bar.
I had a issue here everything on hdmi sockets had a broken up picture and normal sound.. Eventually came back and when I play Xbox in game mode for a period of time I get a green halo around graphics for few seconds then it goes back to normal

This backlight bleed issue is widespread across all the MU6xxx range. I was in my local currys looking for a replacement for my Samsung plasma that had a faulty panel and noticed it on all the display models.
I wouldnt put up with it as the ones I saw looked pretty bad and I would of picked a different YC brand. Hisense do the N5700 for slightly cheaper and don't have such issues with backlight bleed but these are direct lit panels not edge lit. Then there is the Hisense N6800 which on reviews has very good screen uniformity and no backlight bleed issues at all.

Samsung in 2016/2017 seem to have dropped the ball with all the chassis issues last year and now with the Backlight bleed issue that is quite widespread this year. I would look elsewhere but for comparable products Hisense seems spot on (as they both use MVA panels).

joff
Based on rtings review, note that the screen colours deteriorate rapidly at an angle.

"Bad viewing angle. Blacks turn grey very rapidly at an angle, then the colors shift and the brightness decreases"

I got mine from EBUYER rang them and they basically want you to contact Samsung so fob you off saying would take long time from us to get it sorted.
I used the inbuilt contact email via the TV where you get them to call though they called at the wrong time lol but I never rang back as it's working OK again now.
I would say this TV is still a good option as similar priced brand leaders have issues also and it looks very smart too didn't like the look of the hisense just look dated and long term reliability was also a concern.
Not sure if I need hassle send this back or not via Samsung as no TV to use in its place lol
£589 now... not as cheap as before but still good.

That "cheap" silver bezel around the tv on the mu6400 is metal, not cheap painted plastic like the models below it.
