I've owned the play.com own brands Class 6 and never had a problem but these are definately quicker! I use my cards on my Nikon D5000 and D3000 cameras and cannot fault them.

I know you might say .. "but I can get three for £17.99" ... the speed and quality of these cards cannot be knocked until you've tried them, hence me waiting to try before I've posted.

They even do a slightly cheaper (by pence) a micro sd card if you have an adapter...

I think it's a good deal worth sharing.

Twice as much space and Class 10 instead of Class 6. Means the Class 10 HAVE to operate at that Class 10 speed, whereas a Class 6 MAY operate at speeds of the Class 10. For the extra few quid I think the Transcend 8gd card is worth it.

or an 8gb class 10 card for £2.50 more here

Not sure how this is a deal, Its been this price for a long time.

@holdav I was sharing what I strongly believe to be a good product for a reasonable price. Have a good day

stupid site deleted my post...
the card looks pretty indeed but without benchmarks cant really say if its worth the premium for performance.
the linked transcend if operating at 10mb/s is almost certainly going to be faster than this. I think if this was faster then people would be shouting about it.

Except I, and others, are a bit skeptical about Transcend's performance claims for their Class 10 cards. Google up some reviews and see for yourself.

In that case, I whole-heartedly agree with you. A great SD card. I use an 8 and 4GB version in my Nikon and they are without fault. I've had so many cards fail on my I used to only buy sandisc, When i saw this in March/April I tried them being cheaper and now I'm only using these.

shame its not a 8gb but good deal if good card

couple of links in the transcend thread now.
after reading the amazon reviews it definitely didnt seem good but then the average amazon reviewer doesn't know what they are on about.
