Seriously I had the 55" and hated it. Battled for a month with Samsung and Currys to get it changed. Samsung replaced the panel but the new one was worse and they said it was working to spec. Managed to get Currys to do an exchange and want for the LG OLED and although it's not 4K the LG blows the Samsung out of the water. Best blacks I've ever seen on a tv.

I'd expect the Oled to blow it out the water there about £1699 now for a 55"
LG ec930v 55" £1299 and ingot another £100 off for all the grief. Like i said it's only Full HD and not 4K but the picture is stunning and the 3D quality is also stunning and one other point the build quality knocks the stuffing out of the Plastic Samsung.
been looking for the 55 one of these and reading all of the reviews and concerns out there have put us right off, seems for the 50inch it depends on the luck of the draw as to which panel you get most of them seem to be good but still to many complaints. 55 though is even worse seems all of them get the same panel not made by Samsung themselves. Its a real shame as in shops their picture seems to knock the other makes out of the park. I know everyone has their own opinion on that though

In the shops they only have bright colourful demo footage playing. Any dark footage in a low light room and its horrible. OLED is just light years ahead.
I looked at these just before new year as it seemed great value. Biggest concerns were around the fact some said it was a 60hz panel and also that the type of panel was a bit of a lottery. In the end I compared in shops and went for the LG 49UF850 which I've been really impressed with, and is currently at £629 from Curry's.
Anyone recommend me what they think is the best tv for around this price ? 600-700.
Looking for 50 inch, 4k? ,occasional gaming, smart or non smart as got a fire stick.
I had my eye on the LG uf770v but after reading a lot of negatives with motion lag/blur it's put me off so looking for alternatives, also no sonys as they seem to be full of faults from what Ive gathered. Thanks
The four tv in this price range for 55 INCH seem to be the above..£680-750

LG UF770V + Great remote, Good Design, excellent interface... - Weak picture in none 4k and poor gaming..

Panasonic CX 680 B + Better picture than the LG, improved interface, Good Brand.. ~ Panasonic do a much better model for only a £150 more Although I'm tempted to go for this model..

Sony KD55X8005CBU + Best all round picture quality of the four with most advanced 4k engine
- weakness Android TV!!!!

Hmmmmmm decisions or save up a bit more most of these tv got £500 + off at retailers now as new 2016 models are out
