Who keeps voting this cold?

not even 1080p

Resolution 1365 x 768 pixels = no deal

1080p would be a must now surely if buying a new tellie? (_;)

Hot man.... its 51 inch, with a blue ray and glasses. who cares if its only 720p. might have to get this

What model is this tv ???

I agree, the average user wont notice owt.

which series is it ?

Bought this at the weekend for £650 comet.co.uk/p/P…364. It's full HD plus got four pairs of 3d glasses and megamind 3D

Thing is at 51 inches you actually will notice the difference with 1080p. Pay another £100 and get the next series up with full HD

i currently own a 720p 42" , if i were to move up to 51" 720 surely i wouldnt miss the 1080 difference?

Are you sure it's £50 of vouchers back....I thought it was £10 for £100 spend and over.

Happy to be proved wrong though.

I thought it was £10 voucher for every £100 spent.

you get one £10 voucher back on this no £50

sorry but poor resolution....surprised to see TV's still for sale at this res?! cold for me.

HD Ready! will not be an excellent picture. cold!

It is 1 £10 voucher for a spend over £100

The review in post 1 was quite good when this TV was £700 without any of the extras.

god, i bet its not been a year since we bought a 50" plasma LG (not 3D) for £600, which was the cheapest decent 50" we could find at the time. They keep going down these telly's.

Okay so its not 1080P get the PS51D550 for around £650 (no extras) if that's what you want however I still think this represents a bit of a bargain given the bundled extras, so hot from me.

If only that deal was still going... I thought about it and thought about it... and thought too long.

A tv that size needs 1080p and 100hz, especially in 3d...it's that price for a reason people...cold

lol this is 600hz since its a plasma. However its obvious that these 720p resolution tvs are going cheap now because they 1080p is more or less becoming a standard at this price.

Wouldnt touch a samsung with a barge pole, bought a 40inch lcd £799, after 2 years a shadow appeared on the screen, emailed them and basically told me i only had 1year warranty and gave me the number for their service centre, which i would have to pay for the repair, freezing cold ba humbug

is this smart hub enabled??

Any reason why Argos are so cloak and dagger with their model numbers?

Good deal but a really bad TV with rubbish spec..... because of the price will not vote either way..

For a sumsung 51'' 720p plasma this is not a good price. Maybe the cheapest so far, but the 1080p one (which I have) is not much more expensive.

Not voting.

Voted Cold, not Full hd?? i mean come on its realy old by now, and not HD freeview, yea your missing out! even freeview is doing 1080i, and yes I do use it and most my content is full HD, sorry to say but 3d cuts your fullhd in half already so you dont want to be doing 3d in 720 ...i dont recall any of my 3d content being in 720 res either. the difference from SD to HD is a big leap but from hd to full hd is still noticeable but not as obvious as the first jump.

Got a 50" full hd 3d with hd freeview and 1 pair free glasses for 580 for 40 more i think its a no brainer and 1 year down the line I think you would be dissapointed ou got the hd ready deal

Isn't this a Samsung PS51D550 51-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p 3D Plasma TV with Freeview HD.....? I thought it was when I originally posted it....

another minus is Active 3D technology

All my friends thought it was LCD ???
Do your friends think LCD is better than Plasma or something?

link busted, expired offer methinks!

Link busted.

I couldn't find it for £539.99. Displaying at £729.99 at the moment

argos.co.uk/sta…htm

Price still a bit steep for a mediocre half arsed HD set.
