Replacement for last years UE55MU7000 I believe- only £50 more and John Lewis have price matched with their usual 5 year guarantee- any one know if it compares favourably to the MU7000

Not sure but this looks like it's more like the entry level uhd probably comparable to last year's 6400. Think this year's nu8070 is more comparable to last year's mu7000

Samsung do this every year. Features are stripped and/or quality lowered on the same model number.

It's a not so subtle attempt to keep moving the "goldilocks" price/quality up a notch.

Also the 6400 was badged 7000 in the US last year so perhaps they are correcting that too?
Not a very good tv
Really poor. Compared to a mu8000 it's picture index is 1600 compared to the mu8000 2600 I personally would fork out for a nu8000 if you mud thavd the latest
I’ve been looking at Samsung 55” TVs and had all but decided to go for the QLED QE55Q6F on the basis that you could use the no gap wall mount. Turns out it’s not compatible with Q6 models. Anyone know what others wall mounts will give minimal gap?

Well spotted just done a quick comparison between the 6400 ,7000 and 7100 and it's just about comparable to the 6400 and nowhere near the 7000 - back to the drawing board lol
