Apart from the one connect box the 85R has there’s Just a slight improvement on a few things on the Q85 compared to Q80 from what I’ve read as I’ve been reading up on the new QLEDS.

Cracking bit off kit if you don’t want to take the risks with OLED like me.

Well found heat from me

It's exactly that, the burn in issue plus i get a corporate discount making the q80 around 900ish so not sure whether to bite or not

£900 nice one. Wonder if any Black Friday deals will be about you might get a belter of a deal.
I believe are apart form the one connect box the main difference is the amount of dimming zones on the TV compared to the 85/90 models

I was thinking the same. I may just holdout to see what Black Friday brings!!
I thought the 80 and 85 were only separated by the one connect box, but apparently the 85 has more dimming zones, there's a thread about it over on AV Forums. Q80R still looks like a great TV though.

I went from 9 Series to an LG OLED, worst thing Ive ever done.
Surely this cant be right, Panel Bit Depth 10 bit - (8 + 2 FRC) even the old qled q7f had true 10bit panel.

If not true 10 bit, not worth it

Fortunately it is a true 10 bit panel.
