The 10 films are only a 48 hour movie rental. Just something to bare in mind if this tipped the scales for you.
Our Samsung smart tv is one of the best things we've ever bought. Just saying...
At this price range the Samsung Tv's are good, so worth a punt if that is your budget.
Still out for the Samsung 6120 for around 350 50inch went for at Amazon a few weeks ago
Bought this TV in October for £650, and its a cracking TV, great picture. Cracking price this.
Tried to claim my films before Christmas and still no response despite emailing them. Useless.

Whats the range if they blast?
Is the picture on this in free view hd as good as the MU7000 model ?
Purchased, good find. Had been holding out for some of the higher models but I can't justify the extra expense. I struggle to see the difference between the pictures of the different models.
Purchased, 1% TCB an many Nectar points :-)
Good deal only 1 years warranty though
All gone. Expired.
Gone unlucky

Mu7000 is a 10bit panel and a better TV. However free view being 1080p it's going to look ok on both.

However the mu7000 is the better one to have!

Think this is effectively 10 bit too its 8bit then some clever thing that basically makes it almost 10 bit.
I got the 40 inch really happy. pleased to have free sat middle of my house where could not get free viewwas easier running a cable from my old sky dish.
Decent price but I take it this is only 8 bit and not got the UHD premium brief, right?

Nowhere near as aesthetically pleasing as the QE55Q7 or Q8 either, I know those models cost a fair whack more but I expect the Q7 to go south of four figures in the next month or two which is my biting point.

Could have got the 49 inch Q7 for £996 yesterday but it's the 55 inch we want for the bedroom so got to hold my nerve and trust my instinct that as the launch of this year's range gets closer there will be plenty of stock still about for them to drop a fair whack more.
Bought the 49" price mached from JL.
LOVE IT. I'm no techie but the pic is lovely and the features great. We have android phones (samsungs) and it' so easy to mirror the screen. So tv is on in the front room.. I go to the kitchen to pop make some tea and can watch the Tele screen on my phone. Maybe I'm just easily impressed ..

Samsung's higher range Tv's have been terrible for the last year or so. They insist on marketing QLED which isn't a thing, it's still an LCD. Sony are kicking their arse at the mid to lower high end and at the premium end they cannot compete with OLED.

We got a 65 inch XE9005 as our main telly in the front room, bought it at a great price through a JLP extravaganza the week it launched last spring.

Lovely telly, had it professionally calibrated too and then in late summer it got infested with thunder flies took three months of being bounced between JL, Martin Dawes and Sony who all tried to say "not me Guv" till finally it was decided they would replace it after all.

Even without that souring things I wanted a Samsung for the bedroom for all sorts of reasons. We all know the term QLED in their 2017 range is a marketing gimmick but did you not realise that there actually is such a 'thing' as QLED still in development?

And finally I wouldn't describe the Q7 series as 'higher range' and even putting the Q8 range in there could be debatable, the Q9 series is the higher flagship end of their range.

I had the same issue with my claim late December. Several emails to TV Plus Help and still no response. However, I found the 10 codes when in the menu settings of the TV. Log in to Settings/General/System Manager/Samsung Account/My Account/Payment Info/Promotional Codes and you should see the codes there, then log in to MyTVPlus with the same account and redeem your codes at the checkout. Great for the 10 free UHD's, although limited choice and too expensive to continue with after the codes have been used.

8bit +FRC so it can accept 10bit signal but can't display them

I went for the panisonic dx700b 58 inch which is about the same price. Not sure which is better? Guess this is a bit newer so may be slightly better spec?

Should have price matched it with powerdirect who currently have it for £579
1 year warranty means you can't get good resale value if you sell after a year or loose all money if anything goes wrong after a year
Nobody buy TV with 1 year warranty , it's not today's standard

True... But It's whether you think 5 extra years warranty is worth £63 (the price difference between this deal and RS) I guess? Some will, some won't.

Fantastic TV, just a shame only 1 year warranty.
Ordered on the 20% off eBay day from co-op, (£456 once quidco pays out!).

Well the media have seen a few of the new ones already but weren't allowed to take any pics, not been given any details of their specs and not had even the slightest hints on pricing but I would imagine Samsung will start pumping them out late March onwards.

Both that old boy from AV Forums and that Chinese bod off HDTV Test seemed rather impressed with the 2018 models they saw which may mean last year's lines might get reduced lower and quicker to get the new lines out asap but don't count on it as they have been massively reduced from the outrageous prices they were at launch last year already.

Got this for £564 from John Lewis (price matched Hughes when the had it for £599 and the SC35 code knocked another £35 off) and it was delivered friday. It’s only for a games room/mancave so just hooked up to PS4 Pro and Xbone X (in game mode the lag is like 12ms) but it gives a great picture on those and I’m pleasantly surprised with the sound off it too!
reccomend visiting rtings for there calibration settings, it made a huge difference to PQ.

Surely all the more reason to plump for a proper 10 bit panel though, especially with what the Xbone X has to offer.

I think I had a look at this model in JL Nottingham the other day because with our discount it would have been around five n half which seemed a nice round figure.

That said it was only a glance as it just didn't that 'phwoah' factor the Q range has. Like aesthetically all the M and U models just look rather LG and plasticky when sat next to them far more premium looking Q's.

Check the price of the QE55Q7Q on their website on a daily basis obsessively, the minute it hits £1135 or lower I'm on it.

With our discount that will take it below a grand and because I've given up on ever getting it for 800 quid ish that is my revised biting point.

It’s about 50% more for a 10 bit panel, I don’t mind spending £££ for the living room but the Mrs would go mental dropping a G in the games room!!

Oh so a grand is fine for the real repugnant housewives of dinlow county but not okay for your Xbone X, nice to see sexism and domestic abuse is alive n well in your home

I had the same problem... they finally responded to my email and they basically want my credit card details and then the vouchers will work. .... I didn't bother
I got it for 549 price matched with Hughes by JL even though the code I quoted wasn't valid
