Tempted... not sure where I would stand if it went after a year though. …Tempted... not sure where I would stand if it went after a year though. Price seems to be amazing.. I had been waiting for AO to lover their Philips 7383 back to £450 and hope an eBay 10% appeared at the same time but this isn't going to happen and this tv is probably too good to turn down at this price.Edit: OOS... dammit don't people read a dozen reviews before buying things anymore?!!!

On HUKD, buy first, watch it go OOS, then research later

Your damn right mate
Excellent TV for the price. No brainier purchase. Got to love hotukdeals for spending payday money
I don't get curved TV screens - unless your viewing from a position which is directly center of the screen don't you get a fall off in picture quality of one side or the other of the screen if you are sitting to the left or right of center?
I can see a curved screen working as a computer monitor where your usually sitting in the correct position to get the benefit but a TV no.

The curve is usually pretty gentle on these bigger screens so you really can't notice it much providing the viewing space isn't too spread out. There's a lot of criticism of curved tvs but personally I don't mind them.

Have a look in currys or somewhere at one. They're not as bad as most people make out. Our TV is in the corner so a curved one would be great for us but alas, this sold out in minutes.

Actually, thinking about it I can see that they would work well if placed in the corner of a room - and the curve would allow them to be pushed back a bit further inti the corner than a flat tv.
Mine arrived with a hairline crack so needs to be returned once I can get through to the Argos helpline.
