I don't think they are any close to 80Mbs write speed.I have one of them …I don't think they are any close to 80Mbs write speed.I have one of them and the wire speed is only 30Mbs. Disappointed
you need to use an USB3 adaptor (I got a simple transcend usb3 adaptor), I get over 90mb read and over 60mb write
mine came with Samsung USB 3.0 adapter and that is how I test it.I think that your speeds doesn't nessesery mean that all of them are going to be that good.
Is the SanDisk Extreme version on Amazons deal of the day much better?

unusual, unless you need to update the usb3 drivers on your pc. If used on an usb2 socket, you will get usb2 max speeds. If it does not work you should return it back, this card is sold as 90read and 60mb write on an usb3adapter. If by chance you are using the SD slot on your laptop, that could very well be working at speeds of usb2. Try it in a friend pc usb3 socket just in case

Over the years, I've read a fair bit of criticism of the San Disk drives/cards. Put me off ever buying them, and they are usually the cheapest deals on HUKD

Thanks for advice, I'll try it ASAP. If you are right you've made my day. Although my usb 3.0 hard drives writing does are 80-90Mbs so I'm not sure.
in reality it went up @ £19.99 because of the discount voucher reduced by £1
These are fast, about 80Mbs for read and write if I recall correctly.
Check the deal link as they should give the specs.
