There's no a lot between KS7000-9000 in terms of tech.

All 10bit. All 4K. All HDR. All usually a lot more expensive than this! Hot
Looks good, very tempted, thanks!

Do people actually ever get cash back from quidco? I've never been successful.

I really want this TV but apparently have to consider other things, such as curtains, for our new house first...

If curtains come anywhere near the price of this TV then you have your priorities the wrong way round

Expensive for this TV? Genuinely interested if you know where to find it cheaper.

Build Quality is much better , local dimming is a massive bonus on upgrade to the 8000 , sound is also much improved although if you are using a sound bar then this wont be an issue for you.

The 8000 was around £200 more than this when it was posted on here recently , well worth the extra £200 imho.

Uh.. curtains will stop the neighbours taking admiring glances of your 65 inches oO as they walk by! Although, from what you said, you won't have curtains if you have the TV so that wont work. Tricky one. Hmmm, ditch the missus and the curtains - the TV becomes your companion in life!

I've gone for the 65 KS8000 for £1499 with free 4k Blu-Ray player - see below thread.

Excellent - so £200 for the sound bar? Which sound bar is it?

Given the TV on it's own is £1599 to give you a free sound bar and £100 off sounds pretty decent to me - assuming the sound bar is actually a good one!

Full array local dimming is the added difference. Google it.
Does this TV do 1,000 nits? I thought that was a big plus for HDR

Yes and No (imo) , I hate the curved screens and that's the difference between the 8000 and the 9000 , oh and the 9000 costs more too

Here is the spec comparisons for 7000/8000/9000 ....

The 8000 is the same TV as the 9000, except the 9000 is the "Curved" edition.

Word of warning if you are considering PRC direct.

Bought UE65KS8000 from them and they shipped some sort of poor quality fake or refurbished TV, see the full post here.

I'm on £500+ in total over several years, so yeah. I've only had to appeal twice and in both cases it was given to me. Might be worth using a second browser with cleared cookies etc. for big purchases. I just use my primary browsers though (Chrome/Firefox) with no issues.
