Samsung HWR450 2.1 Channel 200W Wireless Sound Bar

The Samsung HW-R450 2.1 Channel Wireless Sound Bar will add that little extra excitement whilst watching your favourite films, programmes or sporting events.

The HW-R450 analyses what you are listening to which ensures you always get the best sound in real time. This makes it ideal for those big matches as you will easily hear the commentary over the loud crowd and also perfect for those quiet scenes in movies where you will hear everything clearly. Also if you happen to be a gamer then this sound bar is able to recognise what you are playing and then put the most vital sounds front and centre.

The wireless subwoofer will add that touch of depth to your listening, it will make you feel as though you are right in the centre of the action. As it is wireless you won't be restricted to where you place your subwoofer, allowing you to get the perfect spot which offers the best all round sound experience.

You don't just have to watch the TV through your sound bar, you can wirelessly connect your smartphone or tablet and get the party started with your favourite playlists. You can download an app which will allow you to queue music and make playlists for all of your favourite music.

It just all depends on room size, definitely a good price with the sound bar for the 65”
Can't see the 5 yr warranty on their website. Can someone point it out please.

It was there earlier on the product page. Rest assured all of the QLEDs come with a 5 year manufacturer warranty as part of this promo as other retailers list them as standard.

Hey @merb0786 these are the nice decisions to have in life, but I still understand you being torn about exactly which one to go for! I know you were leaning towards a 55 inch a while back, but it's not all that much more for the 65 inch if you can fit that with your room layout, so I see your dilemma.

I really do think this is the right time to bite tho mate and have a great TV either way which will sort you out for a good few years! Be interested to hear what you decide

I bit and bought the 55" Q85. Soundbar also swung it for me

I would never buy another Samsung TV. I hate all the forced adverts, TV installing Samsung channels, automatically changing to channel 4000 when you switch on, and even adverts on the menu bar.

Nice one mate the screen filter on that model is a real game changer and double the dimming zones, one connect box etc. The Q70 is a really good TV in its own right, but personally I think you made the right decision as Q85R is a level above. And yep, the model up soundbar! Bet you can't wait for it to be delivered now!
Good deal @merb0786
Seriously tempting me with the tv's
You think it's a good time to buy or should i wait?

Tough one mate... I would probably bite soon especially as these come with the soundbars too. What is your budget/size in mind?

I was looking at the 55" around xmas but decided to hold back to see how prices would drop, was budgeting around £600 - £800
But some of your deals with the soundbar etc look really good
Damn it, waiting for the QE65Q85R + soundbar at a good price (£1299) but I wonder if I should bite for this..... under 1 grand......

I think you have alot of options in that price range - you could go with Ambilight if it takes your fancy?

Good luck finding the 55” in stock , I got one last week by chance - a reasonably local store had one left, sold out most places, it’s a great tv almost as good a picture as my LG B7 OLED but not quite , although it’s in a brighter room and more suited to it than the LG

@merb0786 managed to order one tonight, but you're right, stock will be running dry so people need to buy them up if they are interested and see one, as there will be no more big price drops

Good to hear your take on similar quality to your oled but with strengths of Qled.

It’s only the black levels the Oled has the edge over the Samsung , if you havent had an oled you would be none the wiser, the smart tv software is great on the Samsung too.

Thank's @merb0786
Will definitely look into the amblight
Got it direct from Samsung for similar price but with 1 year warranty. TV is great and I really like it but soundbar behaves weird... sometimes the subwoofer stops working and a lot of times you can not control sound through any remote!! Seems like an issue with my soundbar but get the 65’ if you can.
Can anyone see the 5 year warranty? Doesn't list it anywhere

You have waited long enough …You have waited long enough hotukdeals.com/deals/samsung-package-deal-hwr550-soundbar-qe55q85r-qled-tv-5yr-warranty-at-hughes-3427943

Unfortunately it’s the 65” I’m after, I would be happy with £1300 soundbar included
I've just had a chat with their customer service and the code is not valid for the bundle... only for selected TV models on their own, but not the pack with soundbar.
