Really good reviews online and on AV Forums. Was looking at best 75inch TVs and this came up trumps. 200 quid saving too.

I'll try and get JL to price match. Had bad experiences with RS in the past. Feel safer with JL too in terms of warranty etc.

Any other TV alternatives anyone would recommend?

The first time I've seen anything other than love for RS!

Good luck with JL and let us know how you get on, I'm after the 65" of this so would be handy if they price match.
If you have access to staff perks or my staff shop then you can get this for £1619 direct from Samsung.

Wow, Ive always had good service from RS. The warranty service was the best I've experienced.
Richer sounds warranty better than John Lewis from my experience with both

The Q90R would be the best alternative for multiple reasons..... but it carries another grand price tag on top, however it wouldn’t leave you wanting much else spec wise (taking out hdmi 2.1) for now.
Can someone finally explain to me why QLED ever existed? Was it just because OLED was too dark for most users in terms of nit level and Samsung had to find a way to 'cash in'? Or was it just because LG create superior OLED panels and Samsung could never keep up?
I personally think its more of a marketing plot to get the word Q in to make it sound enhanced and on topic when realistically its a very minor upgrade.
