To think I bought this for £90 over 2 years ago. How time flies and a good investment pays off. Glad to see it has kept its' value.

SSD prices are painful, my 840 Evo (250gb) was £119 back in 2013

Paid about £105 for my 256GB 830 in 2012, reduced as the 840 was just coming out.

Still works fine.

Not too shabby, for a Samsung. Heat.

If you want a cheaper option at 250GB, but don't mind waiting an unknown amount of time then you can get THIS! 256GB for £63.99 from Amazon.

Bought this a few weeks ago for my laptop/tablet hybrid. Made a huge difference and worth every penny, it's so quick! Boot to windows in 3 seconds - faster than my gaming rig coming out of sleep! Highly recommended!

Thanks fluctuations aside been looking for one and this seems a good price and branded.

Paid £93 for a 500GB 850 evo a couple of years ago. No way am I going near ssd's again until they are at least that sort of level

SSD drives should be mandatory in any computer, how some poor souls manage I don't know... it was the best £90 I ever spent back in 2012 for that 830 Evo and still going str

In 1985 my house was only £40,000 ramble.....

Not really a valid comparison. Property generaaly does not get cheaper over time (ie. as maybe building techniques improve, or maybe as economies of scale become more favourable, or maybe materials improve or become cheaper etc etc)

Technology products DO get cheaper over time in general ie the same product for less money a year on, or a better product for the same money a year on. This is due to advancements in manufacturing, new technologies, new materials, better understandings of how to eek more performance etc etc,

That's where I'm coming from....

Guys, check reviews, the company is a sham card cloning at the back end... so you will get more than what you pay for... HEADACHE...

Only someone that refuses to move with the times and get an SSD would ever say that

Well, I've had one for 4 years so in yer face.

But I'm obviously not rubbishing SSD's, just your ridiculous trolling comment that using mechanical drives is a massive struggle.

I haven`t bought this drive from them but I`ve bought a few things over the years, including an intensio drive recently.
So far my credit card hasn`t been cloned , I think I usually use paypal anyway or maybe I`ve just been lucky?

Do not order from this company. items never in-stock even when site say it is. wait two weeks for next day delivery. but item never in-stock. ended up getting a refund.
