At the current rate of price decrease (and SSDs are more expensive now than they have been), that could be a long way off.

Me , I currently use a 4tb ext on my Xbone, so this SSD would be great!! I don't see why you feel that SSD are any more susceptable to corruption, but any wise person knows that there are no SAFE storage methods other than backup, backup, backup!!

Most large businesses nowadays use mixed SSD/Spindle storage arrays in a multi tier array, some are now SSD only...

Usually mixed though using the SSD's for Tier 1 use

Don't think he suggested that the data is any more likely to be corrupted (unless that was in another thread), I took it along the lines of having 4TB of data that would actually benefit from the SSD (ie. storing your movies and music on it is a waste of money).

That said... £3.99 postage... pass
voting cold can anyone else find this cheaper ?
Voted hot as i paid £1100 for one to put in my PS4 Pro to play a remastered PS3/PSP/VITA game and i can't wait to spend another £250 to play it in VR when the update arrives.

I guess i like Wipeout a bit too much.

Data loss is the usual line, but games and progs benefit substantially from using an SSD over a HDD anyway, justin terms of faster load times if nothing else?

Wow
They are definately not for common consumers. I have 1x512 samsung 960 pro for drive c and 1 x 1tb SSD for steam and origin and others and 2TB HDD FOR data. I am not buying this at least for another 2 years
