showing as only 1 left. New price for new model = 140
I upgraded my daughters old Macbook with one of these...totally transformed it.
Boot time went from 1 min 20 secs down to 18 secs.
And you could browse through photos as fast as you could swipe with no buffering at all.

Yeah, I put that at the bottom of the description.
It's £110.34 when bought from Amazon, so I don't think there is shortage of stock
Too bad, 850 Evo is not part of Far Cry promotion, otherwise you could price match with Currys.
This is almost a daily deal at the moment which is probably due to the fact there is a newer version out (860) so if you are not in a hurry, it may be worth waiting a few weeks to see what happens to the price.

I compared the 850 to the 860 and I couldn't see too much improvement to warrant the difference in price (and I didn't want a free game). I paid £115 about 3-4 wks ago for the 850 so the price is coming down.
Can you use this in an imac 2009? Not sure whether to use an sshd or just a pure ssd? How would it be done? It seems each imac is slightly different?
less than 2 quid more from amazon
hot hot hot
enough said.
I swapped out old HDD and used the clone software. It’s like having a NEW computer. So much quicker
