My spidey sense is tingling.
Been waiting for these to drop Just bought it, thanks OP!
Fantastic price
5 year warranty. Almost unnecessary but bloody great.
There are only two brands worth purchasing at this price point and for this size. This and the Crucial MX500.

Great price. Paid £113 for this 2 years ago and have been very pleased with it.
Very good price.
I can't resist.
It had been droppign the past few days but this is a great price.
Tiptop spot & price, half the price of the current 850 pro
512gb, but NOT half the performance!

I hate this site. Bought this last week for £115
Great price! Ordered.
Surprised to find I paid £125 for this in Oct 2015 according to amazon order history. Price hasn't changed much.

So tempted but I really wanted the 1tb. Still hoping to see the mx500 1TB dip below £200.
Am holding out for Prime Day wonders. But heat for those who need sooner.
Bought this for £129 the other day. Then dropped to £118 but amazon advised to send the original back and reorder for £118, Now rodered for £105, Good deal , Heat added.

Paid 133 before Xmas - worth every penny, laptop is lightning fast now and it was very easy to fit
Just checked and this is def the cheapest price ever- the next cheapest was summer 2016 as shown below.

Lowest * £110.99 Jun 15, 2016

I ordered an Amazon Warehouse Evo 850 the other day so will be returning that. I managed to pay about 96 quid for it but happy to pay a little bit more for brand new. Lovely stuff and thanks op.

I'm just saying 3camels isn't always correct. They say the lowest it has been since Dec 16, 2014 was £110.99, which is incorrect, and yes it was sold direct by amazon.

Samsung 860 EVO is replacing this, so will certainly be some deals to be had on the 850 EVO. Great drive, but the 860 is far superior and may save money in the long run.

"far superior" you say ? A bit better but an Evo 850 500Gb for 105 quid compared to the Evo 860 for £142.98.

All depends on usage. How do you quantify "a bit better"? I quantify "far superior" by the fact the 860 can last TWICE as long as the 850 based on TBW, so £40 extra can indeed be well worth it. For 1TB and above it can last FOUR TIMES longer.

Note I also said the 850 EVO is a great drive, and I'll also say this is a great deal. But a bit more info can't hurt anyone, right?

Is this one better the mx500? Not sure which one to choose.

Good point. I was thinking more about general performance rather then endurance. These TBW figures would take so many years (decades for a normal user to get near) that i always overlook them.

Yeah things are looking up for once
I can get one of these 850 evo 1TB for £120

Used though, worth the risk?

I'd probably go for it, though my decision would depend upon the seller.
Is it a private sale or store (e.g. CEX).

Dammit.....fingers too fast even through vpn in China...no self control whatsoever. This site is like a drug.

Sounds good, might be worth asking for a gentleman's agreement on the wear level.
If you take it home and it's utterly trashed I'd argue for a refund. More than likely it will be fine though.

In reality, the 850 has similar endurance as the 860, the underlying nand have the same write cycles.
Should have got it Friday night but maybe tomorrow or Tuesday now. Last two orders from Amazonhave been delayed like this.
