Perfect timing, thank you!
Nice. Found this at Argos for £92.99. QVO as opposed to EVO. I know the price isn't that different but just in case someone wanted to just go and pick one up from their local Argos. Much difference between theses two? I actually bought this a few months ago for £116. Lol.

EVO is much faster, I’d avoid the QVO drives though I doubt the average consumer would notice any difference.
Good price.
I have a PC with Core i7pro and 16GB RAM running Windows 10, but it is very slow. I am thinking this is because of the HDD. I am hoping the SSD will speed up the PC.

I am undecided between:

Samsung 860 EVO 1 TB SATA 2.5" Internal SSD : amazon.co.uk/gp/…RK/
or
Samsung MZ-V7E1T0BW 970 EVO 1 TB V-NAND M.2 PCIe SSD amazon.co.uk/dp/…5RK

Any thought?
Thanks

Thanks. I want to improve speed of the PC. I can see the HDD pouncing but the speed of the PC is slow. To just open an MS Office document, it takes quite long, and this is with core i7 and 16gb Ram. Will installing any of these help improve the speed?

The PCIe drive is faster but likely you won’t notice a huge difference with the sata drive. The big jump is from HDD to SSD.

If you transfer large files repeatedly eg video editing then the PCIe makes more sense.

The 970 EVO M2.
The 970 Evo+ is £60 more and the Crucial P1 is £96.31 but slower.
Keep going down please
Either save some money and go for a TCSunbow X3 or Team 5 Lite 3D for less or go for a Corsair MP510 for a bit more.
It's crazy how cheap these have become

Just out of interest, bit more explanation would help us all.

If you're willing to spend £95 on a SATA drive, then you may as well spend an extra £10 to get an NVME M.2 Corsair MP510 which is slightly faster. If you don't want to spend extra, save a bit of money and go for the other 2.5 SATA drives mentioned which will perform similarly to the Samsung

If you bought £50 of Amazon gift cards recently they gave a £6 promo code which applies at checkout for items sold directly from Amazon, it could be that.
Nice to see these dropping in price, heat.
