1TB Samsung SSD QVO 860 | MZ-76Q1T0BW
Quality and Value Optimized SSDMore accessible terabyte capacity. The 860 QVO SSD gives you huge storage, with solid performance and reliability with exceptional value. This breakthrough was achieved with Samsung’s latest 4-bit MLC NAND flash technology. Now's the time to upgrade or expand to the fast SSD you need.

Speed Up to a New NormalSpeed it all up. Up to 550 MB/s read and 520 MB/s write speeds give the experience of a new computer with fast boot-ups, shutdowns, transfers, and application responsiveness. Intelligent TurboWrite accelerates write speeds and maintains long-term high performance with a larger variable buffer.

* Performance may vary depending on SSD’s firmware version and system hardware & configuration.

The sequential write performances are measured with Intelligent TurboWrite technology being activated.
The sequential write performances may not be sustained for the portion of data exceeding over Intelligent TurboWrite buffer size.
Sequential performance measurements are based on CrystalDiskMark v. 5.0.2. Random performance measurements are based on IOmeter1.1.0.

* Test system configuration : Intel® Core i7-4790k CPU@4GHz, DDR3 1600MHz 8GB, OS-Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, Chipset-ASUS-Z97-PRO.
* The Intelligent TurboWrite technology adjusts the buffer size to optimal level within the usable disk space; up to 42 GB for 1 TB model and up to 78 GB for 2TB and 4 TB models.

For more information on the Intelligent TurboWrite, please visit www.samsungssd.com.
Trusted ReliabilityAlways be sure. The 860 QVO is your reliable alternative to legacy storage, built with Samsung V-NAND technology, and backed by a limited warranty of 3-years or up to 1,440 TBW. Samsung’s extensive analysis of SSD user patterns resulted in a sufficient TBW rating to assure everyday PC users.
* TBW : Terabytes Written.
* Warrantied TBW : 360 TBW for 1TB model, 720 TBW for 2TB model, and 1,440 TBW for 4TB model.
* 3-years or TBW, whichever comes first. For more information on warranty, please find the enclosed warranty statement in the package.

Smart CompatibilityBenefit from faster, more fluid communication with your host system. The refined ECC* algorithm and a new MJX controller generate higher speeds, and the improved queued trim enhances Linux compatibility.
* Error Correction Code
Terabyte-level capacityAmple capacity at fast speed is worth the switch. Terabyte-level capacity on a fast SSD elevates your computing experience. Upgrade from multiple storage solutions to the simple speed of one single mass-storage SSD to keep both your OS, applications and massive data all together.
* 1GB=1,000,000,000 bytes by IDEMA. A certain portion of capacity may be used for system file and maintenance use, so the actual capacity may differ from what is indicated on the product label.

Samsung MagicianAdvanced drive management made simple. The Samsung Magician software will help you keep an eye on your drive. A suite of user-friendly tools helps keep your drive up to date, monitor drive health and speed, and even boost performance.

Main Features
  • SSD 860 QVO Performance

this is the QVO model and it's not the best Samsung SSD,if you want the faster and more reliable model go for Samsung EVO 860 instead.
or for sale price range the Crucial MX500 is better than this one.

Sorry voted cold by mistake! Hot deal if you want the game
is this for internal or external?if internal and you've already got a 512gb SSD installed, can this be installed instead and how could your o/s and all files, be moved across?
What is the best website for selling a code to? Wondering how much you could get for it?

It’s really easy. You need to put your new SSD into an external 2.5 caddy. Then use software like this easeus.com/bac…tml and it’ll copy your existing drive over to the new one. You then just swap them over and your computer/laptop won’t know the difference.

Use clone disk that should come with drive.
It's very easy to use

The average user isn't going to know the difference performance wise. I do however agree that if you plan on keeping it a long time as a boot drive that sees a lot of writes, QLC would be hard to recommend when the TLC MX500 is similarly priced.

yes..the £99.95 price is not cheap..so people should consider buying Crucial MX500 instead of this.which is around same price/£5 more but a better drive.the 860 QVO is a budget drive and not worth this price imo.it's either EVO 860 or MX500 with budget of £100-£130.anything else won't be worth it.
this one is not a good deal.

Agreed but the main thing here is the game that cost around £50 at the moment @ UBISOFT (LINK). That makes this SSD around sub £50.
MX500 or Evo 860 are always the best. No doubt about that but an average user wouldn't find any difference.
Also, obvious recommendations are Crucial MX500/ Samsug EVO 860, However, the price range here is seems alright to me who's (average users) after the game and an SSD.

Yep-game included to put on your new SSD. This SSD is perfect for games storage etc
With game a good price. Would be better as a physical copy so you coukd sell it on mind. But heat none the less
I've got one in my PS4 Pro - nice bit of kit. The console doesn't take full advantage of the speeds an EVO can do, so the QVO seemed like a good (and cheaper) compromise.

Way, way quicker than a standard HDD

What? You just sell the CD key..

very tricky to sell cd keys on eBay though..buyers can (and many will) simply claim it didn't work and you can't do nothing but refund.

Never had an issue selling multiple keys myself, but point taken. Or just use G2A or something

Easy.. Samsung have a program called Smart Switch which clones the old HD , done it twice.
Also worth installing is Samsung Magician, which monitors the SSD and uses RAPID MODE, which speeds up the SSD

IMPORTANT - you need to purchase a SATA to USB 3 cable so you can transfer data.. do this at same time of SSD purchase. The SSD does not come with any cables.

You don't need a caddy..
When you clone the original HD SSD or IDE, that HD stays in the PC.
You can connect the new SSD via a SATA TO USB cable - no caddy required.
Nice price but make sure you pay for decent delivery as CCL free delivery is so slow.
No mention of the free game on the website?

Currently on sale for £34 via Epic games
Good SSD drive - really tempted but I'm I haven't got any more free sata ports.
Might have to buy a 4tb HDD to transfer movies too and use this SSD for gaming... But considering how much space is needed nowdays (got asguards wrath downloading at 130GB) I'll soon run out of space
