    I think the MX500 is less than this, which is a better drive.

    Indeed.MX500 has DRAM cache this one doesn't.

    Good deal and good drive but get the Crucial MX500 4Gb which is on offer as it is a better drive.

    MX500 is a much better drive.
    Samsung QVO is slow dram-less low end drive.
    Crucial MX500 is much better and has DRAM.

    Good price but nvme much faster

    They are, but you don't buy these for the speed. The sooner these take over spinning rust the better - they're still faster, have no moving parts, quieter and take up less space (crucial for SFX builds).

    Problem is they cost a fortune at the higher capacities, whereas you can often get a 20TB HDD for £280 or less.

    Bought one of these last November for £221.49 and was hoping for it to hit that price again so I could pick up another. Shame it's nearly £40 more this year.

    Samsung QVO doesn't have DRAM cashe and is a low end model.
    I'd go for Samsung EVO or Crucial MX500. (edited)
