The price seems to have come down on this in the last week or so. Still more expensive than it should be (thanks to brexit), but can't find it cheaper anywhere else right now, so I think it's not a bad deal.

Brexit, yawn. You'll be blaming Brexit for your piles next. Pretty much the same price throughout all eu countries.
Its £10 more in france. And for the millionth time, its NAND prices thats the issue.

That asterioid/alien ship thats going to destroy earth, now thats becuase we voted for brexit......

Yeah, don't mention Brexit. The thumbs don't like being reminded about their idiocy.

Price matched by Amazon if anyone prefers.
What were the prices of ssd's before there was a shortage worldwide? I wanna know how much extra we are paying now?
The sram/nand shortage is the major driver of the high prices and also the pound slump caused by brexit is the two major reasons for the high prices..

The former should resolve itself in 2018 .. Dumping brexit is the other answer ..

Not wasting time? She's just wasted 18 months of negotiating before giving the EU everything they asked for on day 1.

Expect everything to shoot up when we crash out with no deal & WTO tariffs kick in putting all prices up 10-20%
It's nothing to do with Brexit lol there are overpriced everywhere now
Thats not too bad, got mine from Ebay 100 quid from China in Feb

How is Brexit to blame? This deal is cheaper then in in France and other EU countries
It's EU who pays more. We are probably paying a little more then if it never happened but we still pay less then European countries

Thank you all for the comments. I was aware of the NAND shortages, and perhaps I should have mentioned it also, but there must be many factors that affect the cost of producing a product like this. Obviously the price of NAND is going to be one of the major factors. That said, there's no doubt that the value of the pound, which has fallen significantly since the referendum, has resulted in reduced buying power for us, which is why I mentioned brexit. It may well be cheaper here than in France, BUT, if the referendum had gone the other way, it would likely be cheaper still over here!

In any case, it's the cheapest price around as far as I can see, and my main intention here was to help someone find a good deal on this drive if they were looking for one. I paid £116.91 for this same drive a few weeks back, and this deal was enough for me to pull the trigger on a second 960.

In terms of the drive itself, I'm wondering what others think about it? Care to comment if you have used/tested one?
Folks it's pointless trying .... Obviously a remoaner

Yes you're right - EVERY issue/problem/thing you don't like is due to Brexit.

So many problems, the problem is that everyone is blaming brexit for problems and thats a problem... I blame brexit

I don't think you do. Can confirm when I have mine, which will probably be tomorrow, if you can wait that long.

Increased supply basically (fabs will be back online after upgrades) plus samsung is rumoured to be ramping sram production..

as for brexit, a drop from £1.50 plus to £1.30 to usd (and given we pay for everything in either $ or €) has affected prices and will continue to do ..

yes occasionally prices may be cheaper here, but its not indicative

Expecting it later today. When I bought the last 960 from ebuyer a couple of weeks back the code came via email in the evening on the same day the 960 was delivered. Will let you know if I get one, but I'm not expecting that to be the case this time.
