Quite a good price for the Samsung 970 NVME tbh. I can't remember it being this price for a while ?

  • The 970 EVO transforms high-end gaming and offers rapid speed for data-intensive work thanks to Phoenix controllers and TurboWrite technology
  • Performance data up to 3,300 MB / s when reading and up to 2,500 MB / s when writing are up to 32% than with the previous generation
  • The Samsung Magician software always keeps the drive up to date with updates; monitors status parameters and optimizes performance for you
  • Manufacturer guarantee: 5 years The guarantee conditions can be found under "Further technical information". Your statutory warranty rights remain unaffected

Overpriced tbh, this is £20 cheaper and marginally faster:

Good price
I picked up a PNY CS3030 1TB for £112 the other day from ballicom. 3400MBps read/2900MBps write. No need to spend this kind of money in my opinion.

Agree. My Sabrent Rocket might be a fraction slower but it makes no difference in reality apart from the extra money left over.
Agreed good price for this drive but better value to be had elsewhere for a quality 1tb nvme drive. ADATA 8200 is also cheaper and v well reviewed with decent specs

Without a doubt. Also the WD 750 is a great alternative.
Posted as I thought this was the lowest price the 970 evo has been since Black Friday
The WD blue says transfer is up to 8gb, this is only 6? The WD blue is only £100

The listing on Amazon always seem to be wrong. If you're talking about the WD Blue NVME this is a differnt class NVME.
It looks like they're listing the Sata 3 theoretical speeds rather than NVME.

£117 made more sense, £150 is stone cold...
