Even as NVMe, and as the best brand+model combo, I wouldn't be happy with this price for 250gb
£105.96 for 500gb 970 evo on amazon if you can afford the extra for double the capacity.

Can you find a cheaper deal for me? As I need to get a few of these this week for custom builds

Haven't looked for awhile in fairness because I got all SSDs I wanted recently As the above person mentioned, I'd invest a bit more for the 500Gb version.

Not my choice what goes into them unfortunately or I wouldn't go for this exact one

I'd pick a few up to put in the stock drawer at that price!

Just turn your drawer into a server
Why aren't you using the new 970 Evo plus? It's a. Faster nvme drive and cheaper by a few quid..

Have to agree with this comment. I've just put a 'budget' system together for a friend using the plus version. I am absolutely astonished at the speed of the PC. Windows 10 installed from a USB 3.0 flash drive in less than ten minutes and boots up in under 15 seconds from pressing the power button. My twelve month old system which has the earlier version nvme takes twice as long to boot plus the card cost me a few quid more but was half the capacity! The Samsung EVO plus is in a class of its own at the moment.
500Gb Plus version available at Overclockers for £98.99 plus postage. here

I got it myself and it's a great drive. Certainly a step up from my ageing/failing 830.

It had to be a Sumsung 970 Evo's as they were client builds. I already bought these from CCL as I couldn't find cheaper elsewhere.
