Sorry about that! I had tried to use the photos from Samsung's own website but they use a webp format that I wasn't able to upload. Did a google search for some other images and accidentally ended up using the wrong one. Photo is updated now. I wish it was 2TB for that price too!!

strange prices are still as expensive as they are, l thought it was predicted to go down this year along with ram prices, l paid 95 for this last year.

Nothing strange about it. Devaluation of the £ due to Brexit.
good price. I'm waiting for the 1tb price to fall in line with other retailers on amazon...
This is the new plus version, not just new 2019 model. If you check the read/write its went higher than the normal 970 evo, there is a couple of good reviews on this as there saying this more or less takes you to he boundry limit before something new has to be made. This is about £!0 dearer than normal 870 evo and better speeds.Up to yourself if you buy it.I have 4 coming to put in my pci-e card and then gonna unlease them on my system
970 evo £114 3500/2500mb
970 pro £158 3500/2700mb
970 evo plus £114 3500/3200mb prices on amazon and speeds taken of Samsung site and pro version is 512gb rather than 500mb .Hope this helps if you are buying as with both being same price,to make sure you get right one if buying as that extra 500mb maybe come in hand on plus version and I think it was Wednesday it hot released I think

I've seen some drops at the lower end of the market of ssds, hopefully this means that the nvme drives will also drop soon. However, its worth noting this is the new 970 EVO plus version with some marginal updates, the 970 EVO can be picked up for around what you said.
You would have thought with pcie 4 coming with Ryzen 3rd gen and maybe DDR5 that prices would fall alot better than this

This is a brand new model and only on sale one day on Amazon. How much has the pound devalued in one day?
Don't blame everything on Brexit.

Yes but it wasn't produced yesterday was it? Input costs influence sale price. This stuff is priced and the raw materials are costed in U.S dollars.

I blame the devaluation of the £ on the uncertainty cause by brexit (as does the rest of the civilised world) and i blame the price of this SSD on the devaluation of the £.

It's not rocket science. People that cannot understand simple causality should be automatically precluded from voting.

You replied to a comment where a person said they bought this product a year ago for £95.
This product didn't exist a year ago.
The price is higher because this is the 970 evo plus but feel free to blame it on Brexit if you wish.
Jeez... what you all playing at? Spending money on SSDs when we should be stockpiling for Brexit. I’m expecting to see quality prices on tinned beans!
Cheers op, went for one of these. Nearly bought the old for £99.99 but thought would go for new one
Price updated to £113.76
Price needs updating again (112.64)...

Do you need an NVME drive specifically? All the Samsung ones are roughly the same price, so I would say its probably not worth the small savings to get an older model like the 960 evo or the older 970 evo. You could consider a WD Blue 500GB for around £70

Been told Samsung are reliable . Don’t need nvme it’s for a nuc device win10 general use . I suppose between 70£ and 110£ is a big difference if performance is marginal

Well it was due for delivery yesterday but got the amazon email saying that they were still trying to source stock, so it appears they were selling with no stock

Same here. I contacted them and they gave me a 10 quid gift voucher so maybe worth a try.

Same happened to me, I called them up and they gave me a free month of prime. Its something, though a £10 gift voucher is better obviously! No delivery estimate from them yet unfortunately.
Delayed
