    This range has had issues with fast premature degrading, apparently Samsung has resolved with a recent firmware fix however for me my data is more critical than a few microseconds of speed so western digital sn850x would be my preferred alternate choice with similar speed

    Non Owners only read out of date gossip and don't know much about it.
    None of my Samsung Drives were affected.

    Those issues don't exist anymore.

    980 Pro Bug was fixed a Year ago.
    990 Pro Bug was fixed a few Months after Drive release.
    They gave refunds.

    If you read about WD/Sandisk you wouldn't buy their Products either.
