Like New Like New devices are not brand new, but they’re not far off. The only difference is that they may have some wear and tear and superficial scratches, but there will be no more than five deep scratches or chips up to 2mm in length. We’ll make sure every device is loaded up with the latest operating system and rigorously tested before being re-packaged in an O2 box for whoever gets in first. Plus you’ll get a 12 month warranty to put your mind at ease.

Make the most of the HD+ display The A20e is slim and small, but still manages to cram in an impressive 5.8 inch HD+ display. So there’s loads of screen for you to watch movies, play games, browse social media, and much more.

Take perfect pics
Capture amazing photos, even in low light. The Galaxy A20e’s dual camera will capture bright and vivid pics even when it’s dark. So whether it’s a sunny afternoon, or late in the evening, you can take pictures in crystal clear detail. And the Ultra Wide Angle camera lets you capture even more of what you see.

Make it through the day There’s nothing worse than running out of battery when you’re out and about. Thankfully, the A20e should get you through the day on one single charge. But if you do need a top up, the 15W fast charging will have you back up and running in no time.

Keep your personal things private The A20e features a fingerprint scanner on the back, meaning you, and only you, can get to all the important things saved on your phone.

Does my phone come with a charger and accessories? We’re always looking for ways to reduce waste. And as 70% of people already have a USB charger plug at home, we've decided not to include them with our Like New phones. Instead, they each come with just the USB charging cable, and iPhones also come with a sim pin. If you need a USB charger plug or headphones, you’ll have the option to purchase them after choosing your tariff.

Has been close to this price on O2 and Vodafone (99p to unlock). Granted its 120 plus a tenner top up on vodafone now.
Quick delivery from O2. Mine came in mint condition with some of the plastic wrapping still on the phone. You get the phone, a sim ejector pin and a usb C cable in a standard box.
I ordered, but received an email to say I failed some checks anyone else had the same problem
Better than Google Pixel 1st Gen.?
Is this an upgrade to a s7 Edge?

No S7 i would think is better.
A40 is a better phone.
Got one of these last week, can confirm they are unlocked.
Is this quicker and slicker than Xperia L3, Huawei Y6 2019, or Cubot x19?

Is this an upgrade to a s7 Edge?

Lol no, not even close. Its a downgrade in every single way (screen, build, processor). Seems to have similar benchmark to the Honor 9 lite which is a 2018 budget phone (yet this only has a 720p screen). I'd say the s7 edge still just about beats today's mid rangers specs wise but the software may bog it down. Not sure why anyone would entertain a phone like this to be honest when something like the Honor 10 lite or mia2 can be had new for a little bit extra.
DeBoredPotato14/02/2020 22:08

1st gen Google Pixel is better

Again, definitely not. Plus the pixel 1 still got the latest security update and Android 10 I believe.
Dreadful phone. Have one for work. Slow and glitchy. Poor battery life.
I have got one (bought new). It's quite slow but screen is OK. Cameras are OK and battery life is pretty good (much better than my Samsung S9).

I am not sure however I would buy again as it feels quite underpowered, particularly compared to the S range (even the older S7).
demosn14/02/2020 22:32

That's an understatement.

Even the A40 us slow compared to the honor9, which is pretty fast.

Maybe you are right but at these price. I tend you use as backup phone and honor cost 30 or more. This is budget or backup phone

Of course it is, the Honor 9 is a flagship thats 2 and a half years old, a40 is a budget phone.

30 isnt much extra to spend on a much better phone (coming from someone thats on a budget myself). You could even get a new s7 for £30 more or a pixel 1 for £20-30 more. Its not worth paying £100 for something like this imo. You can usually get the mia2 for around £100 on ebay too, new and sealed. Or an older flagship like the Honor 8 for around £90-£100 new. All better options than this. Especially as this isnt even a new phone! Samsung have always made poor overpriced budget phones compared to companies like Xiaomi and Huawei.

If you can find new s7 for 130 I am happy to buy one . Samsung is not cheap as it earn it place. The android is much better than other Android . Huawei doesn't last long and connection in UK is not that good..
I've had the Redmi 8 for less than £100 and this phone in the last offer they had, there's no comparison, the Redmi has far better specs. Samsung low end are low end, Xiaomi's aren't.

I've never had a problem with Huawei or honor phones connection. Also Samsung's ui is worse than a lot of other's speed wise. I will say they probably make the best looking flagships though with their design and build. But their budget phones are rubbish. Their mid rangers seem to be getting a little better though with some of the A series line up. I'm pretty sure you can get a new sealed s7 (not edge) on eBay for around £130 from memory.

Thank you for posting. We have added this to the Highlights section.
Mines fantastic had it about 6 or 7 months now and it's not slow like some others have said.. I've got a 64g SD card in to store my pics and books on
People who try to compare a £99 phone to a flagship phone that costs more, evidentially meaning it has better specs baffles me. Great phone for the price, if you want something fast and responsive then at £99 you won’t get much. Especially when condition wise this will come literally as new
Please, please don't buy this - literally buy anything else. I work for a smartphone retailer and the sheer amount of these (including A10, A50, A70) we've had back with faulty speakers, microphones gone, batteries gone or other miscellaneous fault is just incomparable.

Albeit potentially slightly more expensive, go for the Honor 10 Lite, Xiaomi Mi A3 or any number of other comparably priced handsets - you'll have dodged a cheap, slow, laggy bullet.
These aren't very good, looked at getting these for staff at work but they're too sluggish and slow and become annoying. We ended up getting Galaxy A40's instead
So "no more than five deep scratches or chips up to 2mm in length" is "Like New"?

No one is comparing it to a modern flagship. What I am saying is, you can get an older flagship new for the same price or a fraction more that will run rings around this phone in every way. Or even a mid ranger like the A2, Nokia 7.1 or a2 lite for the same price or a tiny bit more. No one is comparing it to an iPhone 11 or S10. Don't know what's baffling about that personally. Even at £100 this is a poor option and wouldn't say it's a great phone for the price.
