For those who missed out on the £9.91 Currys deal a few weeks ago, this is the best price I can find. Laughably they were £100 when I asked them to check the price instore this morning! Compatible with all Samsung 2011 and 2012 3D TVs, but I'm not sure if these are the ones that are also compatible with other brands.

EDIT: Obviously £20 is to collect in store, not sure about other delivery costs. Plus you could buy 8 pairs (4 packs) and get the current £10 off promotion,

Cheap price - but awful glasses

These are the ones that came bundled with my PS51D8000 - very light and comfortable, but Samsung forgot to include any sides on them, so they let in so much light that they are unusable unless you are in a dark room.

The light just causes a crazy amount of flicker and ruins the 3D effect. You really need glasses that have sides on them to block out the light so that everything you see is through the lenses.

That said, if you watch 3D exclusively at night in the dark then these are great glasses.

These ones are so much better - they are usuable in the daytime/evening Sadly over 2x the price though since I think you only get one in the set

Ah, I have these already then - bought the same TV on Tuesday! I think that they're ok, but then again they are my first foray into the world of 3D and I've only had the chance to use them with the lights dimmed! Caught the Man City match yesterday in 3D and was blown away

Yeah in the right lighting conditions these glasses do work well - brilliant 3D, especially with the D8000 Watched Avatar last weekend..much better than the cinema version imo.

Sadly not much good when most of my TV viewing is in the daytime due to my working hours

I bought a Panny 3D player with the TV, so have sent off for the free copy of Avatar and Titanic 3D (already have Titanic so that'll go on eBay), never seen Avatar but got the impression that 3D was the way forward with it.

Damn they never have the SSG-2100AB/X glasses on offer, and they are an older model!

they are still about £59.99 to buy

Just got a dispatch notice for Prometheus 3D, that and the US Avengers 3D should hit my doormat early next week so looking forward to giving these a good workout!

Picked them up, identical to the ones that came with my tv, and to the £100 ones on the shop floor! One thing I did notice was that on the front of the box they are "SSG-30502", but the sticker on the back says "SSG-3050GB"...

i can agree, the bundled glasses (These ones) let in **** loads of light and have an annoying flicker... so yeah, nighttime only folks... although thanks for posting the link to the others i'm gonna buy.

will these work with the Toshiba 46TL868B ?

Well i bought a pair for my 46TL868 and can't get them to sync.... then again I now think the Toshiba TV expects glasses that are infared whereas these samsungs are bluetooth ?? !! anyone else like to confirm as its a return to Tesco for me.

If you're going to buy two pairs of the other ones, it's slightly cheaper to buy this and a filler item to take it over £50 for free shipping, or you can collect from store:
