Super convenient

Designed with busy, modern households in mind, the WW80K5410UW has features and programs to make every day washing easier.

The AddWash™ door lets you add anything into the machine at any time during a cycle. Whether it's a stray sock you left in the laundry basket or a delicate item that just needs a final rinse. You can even pop in an extra bit of fabric softener for bigger loads.

Washing features

The Samsung Bubble Soak technology helps to remove a wide variety of the toughest stains. By adding an extra wash phase to a normal cycle, it ensures clothes are thoroughly soaked in bubbles, so dirt and stains are loosened and removed easily.

Ecobubble technology also help you save energy on heavy laundry days, by washing large loads at lower temperatures.

The WW80K5410UW uses air and water to generate bubbles, which dissolve detergent more effectively, so it can penetrate deep inside fabric. Simply select the Super Eco Wash cycle and wash clothes in cool water as efficiently as warm water.

Smart technology

The washing machine's Digital Inverter Motor delivers superior energy efficiency, minimal noise and long-lasting performance. Using strong magnets it provides a quieter and more powerful performance, while consuming less energy than a standard motor.

By using high quality components and mechanical engineering, the brushless motor is backed-up by a 10 year motor warranty for added peace of mind.

Thanks to Samsung Smart Check, you can also automatically diagnose and troubleshoot problems using the smartphone App and save searching through the manual.

Choose one of 14 wash programs and enjoy A+++ energy efficiency with the Samsung AddWash™ WW80K5410UW Washing Machine.

You really are playing Russian Roulette when using Currys Know How Delivery system. You might be one of the lucky ones where you get a successful delivery first time round, or you will get let down by a failed delivery.

Currys use a courier to deliver their washing machines. You can make contact with the courier directly and make delivery arrangements on 0344 561 6378 quoting your order ref number. They give you a call an hour before to let you know when to expect delivery. I had a washing machine delivered from Curry's recently and it was plain sailing. I even slipped the lads a fiver and they installed it for me.

Give them a swerve - will try and give you a second hand machine and then cancel your order and leave you without a washing machine for over 3 weeks
caveat emptor !
So called ceo and head of complaints must have had his hands immobilized as distinct lack of responses thus far

Any ideas if AO.com do price matching and if so are they likely to match this?

Yep, and likewise if you have to return anything. Good luck if you have to deal with their Know Nothing team. Took over a month to get a refund, but that was because I eventually claimed via PayPal. I ordered from Co-Op electrical who were far better and did actually call when they were an hour away from delivery.

Just got AO to price match last night for the 9kg version of this for me. Price matched from appliance city for £399. Very easy process, just one phone call

Dont agree. I had two Currys delivery in past 2 weeks for large appliances. They have an excellent tracking system. They send you a text a day before delivery and give you a four hour time slot. On the day they call you 30 mins earlier to notify you that they are arriving. If you want to change delivery dates, phone them and they are happy to change the date free of charge (even weekends). I had smooth experiences both times.

BTW, I picked up a Samsung Washer dryer (with 5 yr warranty) for £400 during ebay 20% off deal from Currys...this deal sounds expensive!!
I understand they may have a back log but at least they should give accurate dates! Mine arrived yesterday
I dont understand the courier comment, around here I see panel lorries emblazoned With Currys decals doing the deliveries. No courier is going to tie themselves to one brand like that; or is the courier thing regional??

Until recently, despite most of the UK getting crappy contractors instead of proper BT OR engineers, my area was blessed; now the sub-standard contractors have moved in and telecom performance has taken a dive.
i like the idea of the bubble technology, but havnt got a 400 budget for washing machine, surprisingly my two year old 180 pounds Indesit machine is still going

Agreed. Team Know How are absolutely useless, especially if you have a problem and need a repair.

Me too went with a 10kg one that they knocked £20 off to make it £309!
60° wash time 284 minutes full load
40° wash time 254 minutes partial load
Quick wash time 15 minutes for 2 kg

Put me right off Samsung machines. You'll end up using quickwash all the time
What's the manufacturers guarantee like for Samsung? Does it cover parts? Easy to replace if it keeps breaking or is there a lot of faffing about?

Ours does a 40 degree full load wash in an hour, I'm pretty sure your times are for cotton wash
Got this for £324 on the recent Ebay deal, its a great washing machine and the washes are a lot quicker than stated, daily wash is just over an hour
Banned
Good price but Curry's customer service is S**te, so I would never buy from them again

It is stating that on the paper, but this is for full load on cotton. I have washed six large towels on cotton setting 40 degrees and it took 1.5 h. Could be less if I chose to have only 2 rinses instead of 3.
Worked with the graphite colour. Cheers.
I got the 9kg bush washing machine for 120 quid that replaced my 400 quid Samsung.... so far all I can tell is it’s exactly the same, the Samsung broke within 2 years and they would t repair it...
Currys are absolute dog mess but this is a decent deal I'll add some staff discount and get it for £340 and just go pick it up.Hot from me

Very true. Got mine third time lucky.
1st - van loaded with a ex-display/pre-opened washing machine.
2nd - faulty electrics that tripped my fuse box every time it was turned on at the plug
3rd - finally a working one.

Use the daily wash option it takes about 1 hour to complete. Use the 40 degree option for everything apart from towels which should be 60.

It depends on where you purchased them from or during promotion. Mine was on a promotion 5 year warranty. Yes, it cover parts too. Just make sure you register the product with Samsung. You'll be given an email confirmation with registration id. Just make sure to keep this safe and not forget your password or record it down too. I've been told that Samsung doesn't produce carbon brushes so when the carbon brush goes kaput, you'll have to change the motor at the same time about £100 excluding labour/vat.

Omg we have just had this washing machine put in recently! We have ours upstairs in the utility room, so it was important it wasn’t too loud for when we were sleeping - we find it quiet, and lots of settings to choose from. A good buy imo!
That's an excellent price for an AddWash Samsung model with a 5 year warranty. It seems January is the best time to shop for washing machine. Just make sure to register with Samsung. Their customer service was excellent when mine broke down.
cherubrock6 h, 33 m ago

Haha, so true. I had an Indesit and it was absolute garbage. I've now got a 9kg Samsung ecobubble washer dryer and it's the best I've had. The ecobubble tech works by making sure all the detergent is dissolved before the washing begins, makes a massive difference.

You get what you pay for in this case.

Pretty sure these motors don't use brushes. They're direct drive motors which use magnets. That's why they're silent in operation.
Dire Customer Service. I currently have a lesser model taking up space in the kitchen after their illustrious courier firm delivered the wrong model. Trying to arrange to have it removed is like recruitment and selection for NASA.
ever buy anything from Currys that you can’t put in the back of a car.
Recently used AO.com to price match a Samsung Addwash. Fantastic customer service from order through to installation. Highly impressed
