Looks awesome

I have a SM2333HD as a TV in the lounge, how does this differ from it other than touch sensors instead of some of the buttons?

Hi

After a bit of advice here.
I currently have a 19inch widescreen for my PC at home.
I'm looking to upgrade it to something like 22-24inch.
I will just use it for the PC, which, right, now will just be a VGA connection. How could i use HDMI|?
The only thing this hasn't got, its adjustable height.

Thanks.

you can use DVI if your pc has a DVI out, HDMI is tv..etc..

Am i better looking at non DVI, HDMI tftp's?,guess they would be cheaper?

daakhu, you can get a VGA to DVI adapter pretty cheaply i.e. under a fiver which will take care of that for you

You won't find many decent size monitors for a decent price which only have VGA now-a-days. This monitor has HDMI, DVI and VGA so you can use the VGA for the time being and then you're sorted if/when you upgrade your PC to use DVI at some point in the future.

Just for reference HDMI and DVI are basically the same thing and can be easily converted between with cables and adapters. The main difference is that HDMI carries sound as well as video and is aimed more at the living room (TV, consoles etc) where as DVI is more for IT use.

Maybe it's time to upgrade the PC, January sales should bring a few decent deals including monitors, maybe you should hold off til then?

There's no point as the monitor has VGA as does his PC; just use your VGA cable.

Same price at Dabs but Quidco as well so cheaper.

Heat given but I bought this same monitor 2 weeks ago for just over £5 less from amazon! Didn't think to list it!

Is it any good to use as a TV? i.e. how does it handle fast moving video such as Football.

what are all these reviews on amazon saying that it doesn't come with a UK 3 pin plug?
