- Immersive curved screen with Full HD visuals for great entertainment

- Ideal for gaming with fast response time and optimised settings

- Dual interface connection makes it easy to use the monitor with your existing devices

Immersive curved screen

The C27F396 has a curved screen to immersive you in the visual entertainment. Its 1800 mm radius creates a wider field of view, enhancing your depth perception and minimising distractions in your peripheral vision. Whether you are watching a film or playing one of your favourite games, the monitor will immerse you in the action.

With its slim yet solid design, the monitor is more than half as slim as previous Samsung curved-screen models, adding to the aesthetic appeal of your computing setup.

Ideal for gaming

The C27F396 has a dedicated Gaming Mode which optimises the screen colours and contrast to enhance your gaming experience. AMD FreeSync minimises stutter to provide smooth and enjoyable gameplay by syncing the screen refresh rate with the image frame rate.

A quick 4 ms response time keep you in control, allowing for on screen movement with less blur, judder and ghosting. This can be the difference to your success in the game, especially when competing with others online where every second matters.

Dual interface connection

You can easily connect the C27F396 to your other devices such as PCs and games consoles. With an HDMI and VGA connection, you can fit the monitor into your existing computing setup easily to enjoy Full HD visuals quickly.

Not a bad price. I don't know if i would spend that much on a non 4k …Not a bad price. I don't know if i would spend that much on a non 4k monitor these days. But it's a good brand and curved. Just my two cents worth. It's not a dis', just wanted to comment just in case the less techie oriented hasn't considered the 4k options.

What?
I think you'd need to be looking at near £300 starting price for 4k monitors.
I would suggest the VAST majority of people currently do not require 4k monitors nor have the capability to run games in 4k for that matter.

Please come back in a few years.
Thanks.

I think thats the Max I'd go for a non 4K

£159.99 is your max for a non-4k monitor?
Good luck getting 4k monitors for £160.00

Why not? Much better quality, Why are people so obsessed with other peoples views and opinions is a better question.

Acer 4k 28" monitor (Not curved, but) £200 just a few days ago. I'd rather spend the extra £40 to buy a monitor that is a lot more future proof.

Come back in a few years.. Lol

Why kick off? Just trying to help the less tech minded people make an informed purchase.

Where can you get a 4K equivalent at this price?

Why are people so obsessed with 4K ffs?

Maybe they’ve got graphics cards that can do 165fps at 4K ...you tell me! Frame rates are low. 1440 is my sweet spot.

Because they've not been told to obsess over 8k yet.
The two year warranty is very telling, I have never trusted lower end products from samsung since I worked in a big chain of bars and all the cheap samsung T.V.'s died inside 4 years.
4 ms pointed out but no freesync (which costs them ~ nothing). Pass.

It does have freesync, it's in both the Currys description and Samsung's own on their site
I have this monitor, it’s very good. It has FreeSync and hasn’t let me down in visuals. I happily play games with my rx 580 8gb. Definitely recommend.
Just buy the 4K one, then view the difference, its rather simple, I use 4K at work and view it at home, its worth the extra wee pennies folks, Happy Eater too!!
Cold, non IPS

Brutal! I've just got 1070 ti and I still don't think it's worth getting a 4k monitor for it. Rather have 60 fps ultra 1080p then a 40 fps 4k high settings

I missed your post when it was ?
I'll be sitting quite close to my monitor. Do some gaming and also use it for office work. Which would be better this or the no.1 Amazon best seller Asus 24 incher? Asus 24
Now OOS
Aghhhh I missed this, I took too long to pull the trigger, looks like I will buy an Asus VG248QE instead
I like to look at it like my procrastination has saved me £160. This site costs me a fortune as it is!
It's out of stock at the moment, hopefully will be back in stock this week as I am considering buying one with the £20 off voucher mentioned above
Just had another check - they still haven't got more stock in yet, I will have another look tomorrow then on Monday
Back in stock, I just bought one.
