Too big for 1080p in my opinion. Not a bad price though.

Naa, too much PC snobbery around resolution. I use one of these on one of my Pc's and it's fantastic for games like the witcher 3, Rocket League, forza 4 and games that I play with a controller. But mostly this monitor is great for my daughter who uses it for MS Paint

I have one of these. I was going to order 2 more but they hiked the price up to £249.99 from £199.99. I think that this is just the normal price for it. Decent enough monitor if your not concerned about high refresh rates or qhd
Link takes you to a JVC?

It's still fine for gamers really, when did 60fps+ become 'necessary'

When we stopped playing on consoles 😏
But in all seriousness, I'm not a hardcore PC gamer and even I notice the horrible screen tearing because the game is running at 80/90fps 😞

I guess but most games you can lock to 60fps.
OP, TV is even cheaper with code LSTV20. comes down to £229. Surely thats a great price..right?
TV posted yesterday by JUST 500, £229, a great price for a non Vestel 32 inch smart full HD TV. Can't comment on the monitor as I am not a gamer, but I believe the price is also good.

Haha I knew this would get trolled of a few try hard specification warriors... It's a £199 monitor lol.

I've bought one for my SNES classic and Switch, for those its totally pointless buying anything higher spec.

Great price OP so voted hot.

£199 is like 5 pence for you, just like buying old junk in garage sale. 4k Uhd tvs and monitors are similar price or slightly expensive . All the consoles and TV boxes like Xbox, PlayStation, Apple tv, Amazon TV are 4K uhd now. If I were you, I would look for cheap 4k monitor or TV instead of burning money on old technology.

Opinions. It's all about opinions. In our home we have multiple 24" 1080p monitors, a 27" 1080p monitor, a 27" 1440p monitor and a 34" 1440p ultra wide.

The 27" 1080p monitor was fine until I saw the 1440p display. It's still fine now I guess and my son uses it and wants another.

But 32" is a bit too big for this resolution in my opinion.

I have a 1440p 27inch monitor too also and although it's slightly sharper it's really pixel peeping to notice the difference. I can barely tell the difference if I enable super sampling to 1440p on my 1080p monitor compared to native 1440p on my 2k monitor.

Not sure it's a good idea to leave your child next to this monitor at current lightning. Might not be too good for her vision.

Ahh she's fine, don't belive the scaremongering. People and kids spend all day with a VR screen strapped 1 inch away from their eyeballs in pitch black and they are perfectly fine. Never mind half an hour on a PC in dim light. But I do have blue light filter on as precaution

I know I own it. Only matters if you sit ridiculously close to the monitor, I don't and play most games chilling sat back with a controller.

That's fine I guess. I can justify how I was able to damage my vision through summer, playing at night good old Lineage2. It went from 10/10 to 7/10. I must admit I was using crt monitor which is many times worse than current lcds.
1080 32in monitor? No chance.
Save 51p and get this monitor for those that want the extra resolution. 1440p 75hz £198.49

That's a gaming panel though? Just because 165hz exists and 1ms exists doesn't make a 60hz 4ms panel bad for gaming. In fact, it's still pretty good.

If it has a Hdmi (I'm guessing it does) then yes
I was fortunate to get an even better deal on the TV when Quidco did 20% off Samsung Tv’s under 40” a week or so ago making it £200. Still, £229 seems like a great bargain for a branded TV to me. Note for those wondering I don’t believe it’s wall mountable.
Seems a good price for this but....

Anyone have any thoughts on this 28in 4k monitor for the same money?

Great Price this will be my new tv when i plug my now tv smart box into it
I like that's it's white and, err, not much else. 32" and 1080p - Are we back in 2010 now or what?!

As someone who owned a curved TV for a while, I also think it's a load of nonsense. It adds absolutely nothing.

I'm looking for something similar but needs to have a vesa mount, shame that!
Is this or a smaller 27" be any good for occasional gaming at 1080p? I mainly surf the internet and look at photo's I've taken, but like to play a game or two now and again, as does my son.

Would someone care to comment if there is a better monitor out there for my needs, it would be aprechiated.
