Curved and refub may not be for everyone, but just pulled the trigger on the UE49KS9000 refub - £719 + 10% for VIP club (code: vip10) -> £647 with the VIP club 6 year warranty.

That seems decent! So much so that I want to pull the trigger as well. 10 bit as it is quantum if I'm not mistaken?

Also who cares about refurbished with a six year warranty?

EDIT: 12 Month Warranty Only. Edit post OP.

ALL CLEARANCE ITEMS ARE FULLY GUARANTEED FOR 12 MONTHS, no matter if you buy in-store or online. Please note that extended guarantees are not available on these products.

Yes 12 months warranty. that puts me off, otherwise would have purchsed.
Widely reported light bleed issues puts me off. Otherwise good price

returned one with that problem but got a perfect 55" instead
Anyway, if free of that kind of defect, the 49" makes a superb curved PC monitor

Probably your returned one is one of these "refurb" haha
12mths not worth the risk
probably returned because of the light bleed/clouding issues? actually may be good if it's refurbished though as they might fix the issue? sent one back because of it but actually tempted to try another as this is over half the price of the LG OLED I'm thinking of getting oO

It was new but can see that not many are getting the same problem with the 55". Just make sure that it will be returnable in the eventuality that you not happy, not necessarily they fully test them when they get returns and if on clearance these people (richersound) might get funny sometime if returned with what they might think might be a very minor problem. A minor problem would usually spoil the whole experience sometime especially when the screen is affected.
These curved TVs actually any good?

These curved TVs actually any good?

yes very good but the light bleed and clouding
Anyone has actually purchased a refurbished tv from Richer Sounds? How is the quality and condition? Am interested in one model there but not sure about what I would receive with a few hundreds of £ spent. Many thanks.
I'm now on my 2nd (new) replacement TV, light bleed in even worse, but the Curve and TV is superb, fortunately bought from JL, top notch hassle free service - sadly will be calling for another or repair. I can imagine most other retailers would have put you through a load of hoops or just said its designed like that X)
