Fitting out new kitchen and seen this in store looked well made and with two cooking zones seemed good for just two, with a rather snazzy split door.
With 5 year guarantee? free delivery seems best deal at the moment.
Going at the weekend to see if can get 6 months free credit?

Ordered this myself for a new Kitchen we are having fitted at the end of the month. It was £620 last week when I ordered but hopefully qualify for the £150 Samsung Cashback offer they had on at the time. I couldn't believe my eyes when I checked again this week and it was £499.
Agreed this looks a well built oven, the only negative points I picked up on through the various reviews I've read are regarding the hard to see controls but we're having this installed in an oven tower right underneath a spotlight, so I'm hoping this isn't so much an issue.
Just need to find an Induction Hob now...this looks a good deal as well for £380:

You could have got £62 off with the code LKA10A and the Samsung cashback, the code takes 10% off any kitchen appliance over £350. I'm telling you this in case you order anything else over £350 and there's no other code that takes more off

Yes, sorry, forgot to say, used that code as well. Thanks!
Had some really bad experiences with Currys over the past few years but this offer was too good to pass up when we were looking at the Samsung range. I just everything is okay when it's delivered!

Got this oven over 6 months ago. The best oven I've ever used. Got it for £369. It's great you can cook 2 separate things with the oven divider. Saves time and money. Cooks perfectly too.

Good to hear, thanks! £369 was a great deal too! Are the controls as hard to see as the reviews make out? Also does it stay pretty clean with the catalytic liner? I wondered whether it was worth the extra £100 for the pyrolytic model.
Samsung cashback? Is it still available?

I think if you have the digital screen at eye level it'll be fine. I normally use the steam clean function every 6-8 weeks. I tend to use just one half of the oven saves on the electricity and time.

I think it ended on the 6th.
Yes the cashback ended on the 6th Nov. I bought it and had it delivered today - I think I paid £408 (+£44 installation) after the 10% discount + £150 Samsung cashback offer (not that I've claimed the offer yet).

Currys guys couldn't install it though. Apparently theres a gas pipe that blocks the entire unit going into place. I'll have to start chasing up the refund for the installation and wait till my hob arrives before it can all be put together.

Anyway, had a Samsung Dual Cook oven in our previous home and they're amazing. Hopefully this newer model is equally as good. Definitely looks the part
Can I fit this under a counter or do I need a different type of oven please? Cheers

Yeah you can, that's what I bought it for. Unfortunately, my current hob has had some weird gas pipe installation that extrudes too far out. If you have an existing under-counter oven then it's easy to pull out to check internal dimensions. I should've done that myself first !

To me they said they couldn't fit a washing machine in my new house because the socket was behind the integrated dishwasher, and that I needed to call a plumber because there was no isolating valve in the pipe.

Seemed odd as the previous owners had just removed a similar machine from there, and the pipe had to be obviously shut somewhere because no water was coming out, so before following their advice I had a look. Took me seconds to see that the dishwasher wasn't screwed in and could just be easily pushed, and that there was another pipe with the valve, right next to the one they pointed.

I'm actually happy that they couldn't be bothered as I had it plugged in and running in minutes and I can't believe I was gonna pay them £25 for that.

It took me longer waiting on the line to get the refund, so my advice is, if your circumstances allow, don't bother paying the extra for installation as they'll only do it if it's the easiest job ever.
Highly recommend getting a pyrolytic version. It makes cleaning your oven child's play!

Obviously is does cost more and you may need an electrician for a higher rated fuse, however, it's so worth it. You just select the self clean setting and then go about your business, then wipe the oven down when it's finished. NO SCRUBBING!
Is it worth £100 more than the 66l version here at £350:

Thanks Ben. I found it odd since we have an oven exactly in the same place. The guys did seem to be in a massive rush too - I'll follow your advice and see if I can either do it myself or get it installed when we have our boiler replaced next week.

Now, you'd think they could automatically refund the installation since they didn't do it... but I guess that'd be asking for too much of a customer experience from them lol. Looking forward to hanging around on the phone for that refund now!
Just a heads up

Due to comments here I called them and asked them if they can replace a gas oven with this and they had to rearrange the delivery and installation date as theyd need a different gas certified engineer instead of the standard electric guy

Due to get fitted on Sunday so will update the thread if all goes well

Did you use a 13 amp fused plug, think you would be mighty unlucky if it blowed , seems you can't get a normal sized fuse 16amp one but noticed a car 16amp torpedo fuse fits, no doubt some sparky would have some thing to say about that.
Noticed one reviewer mentioned about difficulty with the ability to clean the the bottom door, had the devils own job with last oven, used to poke a rag on a stiff wire to try to clean it.

Did you mean to quote me? My experience was with a washing machine, not an oven.
Sorry my stupid der, got ovens on the brain.
For those after a pyrolytic double Samsung one just spotted on AO one for £499 with £50 code that is the same model except colour is £679.99 in Currys?

Yeah they couldn't fit the one I ordered

Said it needed extensive electrical work, not sure what that meant
