Been looking to replace my standard DVD player and found this, price seems amazing.
I know it's not an HD-DVD or Blu-Ray but for a upscaling DVD player it's good

"Key to the DVDHD1080's impressive spec list is an HDMI output with 1080p upsampling. This means that, provided you have a compatible TV, you can enjoy your DVDs at the highest resolution currently possible. Even if your TV doesn't have an HDMI interface, then the DVD-HD1080p7 will still be able to offer a high quality connection. Both component and high quality RGB SCART sockets are fitted, meaning that even with analogue transmission of video, you'll get a picture that's stable, detailed and realistic."

HDMI output with 1080p upscaling means best picture quality transferring high definition video and audio from your Hypervision DVD player to your HD compliant TV Home Theatre or other digital AV components without loss of any digital signal quality
Simply connect your DVD player to TV or Home Theatre with one easy simple cable and enjoy the best in picture and sound
The HD up conversion will convert the signal to 1080p/1080i/720p/576p standard onto your TV
