Thanks to the other deal posted a few days ago on the 9kg washer dryer I found this which has the capacity to suit my family.

This is £1099 on ao.com whom I got to price match plus they've got an offer of £100 cash back at ao.com potentially bringing the price to £645 which is pretty good considering you can't buy it under 1k! you'll have to jump through a few hoops to get ao.com to price match as they need to check they'll deliver within 7 days which can only been done by phone. after speaking to the sales team they advised me the cash back email would be sent within 48 hours of delivery they didn't say it had to be purchased online for it to be applicable.

hope this helps someone as I've been looking to buy a washer dryer for almost 2 years!

Great washer.... Even better price!!! I got cash back from Samsung.... But I still paid £745!!!! Great deal!!
The dying cycle will be crap as they always are on washer/dryers and often stop working, Plus very inefficient etc.

well considering I've been using my current one for over 8 years I think I'll disregard that comment. The dryer is excellent on my current machine. yes if I had the space I'd get separate machines but I don't have that luxury. also this is A rated washer and A rated dryer so I wouldn't call that inefficient.

how long have you had it? I'm having a panic attack at spending so much lol but I needed a new one as I'm constantly washing clothes so needed bigger capacity. plus mine doesn't take take any fabric conditioner any more.

Annual Energy Consumption (Wash, Spin) 264 Kwh
Annual Energy Consumption (Wash, Dry) 1632 Kwh

So 1632 - 264 = 1368 kwh

Example condenser.

258 Kwh

I think that's quite a difference, It's extremely inefficient in comparison.

I understand space issues but sometimes it's worth making space if possible.

you can't compare to a stand alone dryer. As I've said anyway if you don't have the luxury of space then this is a good deal if you have the space then common sense dictates you get separate machines.

but from my own experience using washer dryers they're good machines and they've come along a lot in recent times.

£745 from Appliance Electronics, that's under 1k no?
£645 in the title is a little misleading, as it is not from the same retailer as mentioned in the title. Could that not have been posted in a separate deal? Just saying.

I guess they may have and Samsung seem to make good machines, Just a shame they use so much more energy, I'm sure it's a cracking machine for what it is but it does need to be taken into account, Remember a condenser can be used virtually anywhere.

it quite clearly states POTENTIALLY £645 and that's only achievable if you get ao.com to price match which if you're unlucky then you'll be paying £745 with the linked site. To have any chance of getting it at £645 you'll have to go through ao.com but as their price is £1099 I don't think it makes sense to put them as the retailer. but thank you for your input anyway.
£745 seems to be a good price, but the title is certainly misleading - "potentially £645 @ Appliance Electronics" suggests it could be that price from the company in the title.
Be aware that this is 700mm deep and will stick out from a lot of worktops.

Sorry seams I didn't quite read the description properly... I have the washer only!!! But it's a great bit of kit quiet... Lots of features... And 5 yrs guarantee is always good to have!!! The motor has a 10yr guarantee as well!!! Only had it for 4 months ish!!
I've had my Samsung washer dryer for seven years. Works brilliantly. Bigger loads do sometimes come out slightly damp and need a couple of hours of air drying but that's not a huge inconvenience compared to the alternative.

My electricity bills are very reasonable and it reduces humidity in the house, making the heating more effective.

That's great to hear thanks
I have the 11kg ecobubble washer, it's brilliant but I will be getting the ao extended warranty thing at 11 months. it's a workhorse here with 8 of us and we have just had some circuit board replaced at 8 months old which was covered by Samsung, ao said when it's 11 months old I can purchase the extended warranty monthly through them. our last washer was covered by currys and it would have been cheaper to replace it but just about everything got repaired on it in the 10 years we had it. only changed it for the ecobubble as it was bigger and the family with our old LG has had no issues with it. washers and dryers are things I tend to cover with extended plans. usually the yearly amount is less than 1 call out.
Just want to say a big thank you for finding this. Got AO to price match after about an hour (!!) of haggling and two phone calls. Gets delivered Sunday so should be able to check on Tuesday whether the £100 cashback works as well.

Keep up the good work :-)

how'd you get delivery for Sunday! I ordered before you and the earliest free delivery was Tuesday unless of course you're not as tight as me and paid lol. Do update if you get the cashback please. and you're welcome I hope it turns out to be a good machine for everyone that buys it.

I was given the impression that you had to buy the extended warranty at purchase not later. plus this does come with 5 years parts and labour warranty incase you weren't aware. although I'm not sure if your machine has that it's worth a check.

I guess they base the 'free delivery' days on when they already have a truck travelling to your area, no I didn't pay extra! I did try for Saturday but they wanted to charge me for that.

It's arrived, not unwrapped it yet but looks good. Cashback claim is in the post-delivery email, easily missed. Now we've got to wait 21 days to see if they accept the claim!
