Product Overview
This Samsung washing machine has a generous 9kg drum, so it’s ideal for a medium sized household. The Inverter Motor is powered by magnets, so it’s whisper quiet – perfect for those with open plan living. Every load will come out spotless thanks to ecoBubble technology. It mixes water with your detergent before it enters the drum, creating a layer of bubbles which soak into fabrics 40 times faster than detergent alone - lifting out stains with ease. For small loads, there’s a quick wash that’ll refresh your laundry in just 15 minutes.

In terms of quality build and performance, how do these compare top brands such as LG?

Both seem to be well rated on Which? (If you trust Which reviews) Samsung are at the highest with 82% and there’s a few LG ones just below.
I really want a 10kg plus machine, should i wait or grab this.....

We got this over Black Friday for the same price, excellent machine, really big drum, plays an annoying tune when it's finished but apart from that this is a great price considering its a lot more expensive elsewhere.

5 year warranty when you register on the Samsung website.

Also big shout out to the AO delivery guys - we got a new American fridge freezer and cooker delivered at the same time as this and they were more than helpful (I paid the 2 quid to get them to unpack the stuff) - they entertained me popping some felt pads on the feet of all the appliances to give my floor a fighting chance. Well done AO, a refreshing change from the usual shrug shoulders attitude!

Cashback from Quidco/TCB of course as well.
Bought for our new house move next week! Thanks op, seems like a decent washing machine
This is a fantastic machine (either that or our old one was terrible). Got this a couple months back for around £350 from AO. If I’d paid RRP i wouldn’t be too disgruntled - it’s damn quiet, fantastic at washing and good warranty. If you need a machine get this one

That’s the 5456 model. Is the only difference the colour?

Just double checked. I believe this deal is a higher model but not sure why?
Been £30 cheaper just a month ago. Await, the time machine comment brigade. Not voting either way but hopefully will drop to the £359

I hadn’t noticed that. Only looked at the last few put on here which were more expensive and still hot.. I ordered but maybe should have waited to save the extra few ££. If it drops again in the next few days, hopefully they’ll refund the difference. Thanks.

omg not this model but my mate has a Samsung washing machine and at end it plays stupid tune, my cheap one just goes beep, i said how in hell in research did no one thing that's annoying
Isnt the cheaper one the new version? Has slightly more modern features?
What's the difference between this and the 5456 model which is £30 cheaper? The AO website is not very clear.
It appears that the 5456 model has more features on it?

I think it seems this one is a higher model than the 5456. Samsung website has this 6410 at a higher RRP than the 5456.
It seems Samsung are making it difficult to compare. Just spent 10 mins of Christmas day trying to compare 6400 & 5456 (sad I know). Anyway you can't compare easily on the Samsung website, this model 6410 is only sold by AO and next. I suspect the different model numbers are to avoid people price matching etc. I've bought the 6410. Thanks op!

Thanks for trying to compare. I have also had the same issue trying to work out the difference.

They are priced different on the Samsung website with the 6410 being more.
There is a different to the specs too - the 54 model seems to have wide loading and the door opens 180 degrees. There is also a few other features such as extra wash programmes - it must be the updated model?

I think maybe the 64 series is just better build quality hence the jump in RRP?

Thanks for the info. How did you find this out?
I was sad enough to work through all the specs on the AO website
I got this through Ebay from AO on the 20% off day so cost me £354. The 6410 is the ww6000 series as opposed to the cheaper 5454 which is the ww5000 series. This machine is better quality. Easy to install, really soft rubber feet so it does not move around at all on the ceramic tiled floor it is sat on. Quietest washing machine i have ever seen and washes really well. Without cramming stuff into the 9kg machine i weighed the dry washing i was putting in and it was only 4kg so im pretty sure you could cram as much as you could fit in there and it wouldnt go over the 9kg load capacity. Very pleased with this purchase, especially the 5yrs parts and labour warranty and the 10yr guarantee on the motor.
