It's in Currys and don't forget to claim 2.5% TCB
nice find op, heat added
All washed up nice find op have some heat
Got one a while ago. Good machine.
Samsung washing machines are rubbish IMO. If you're a Samsung loyal, then make sure there's at least 5 years Guarantee with it. Otherwise, if you're not fussed about the brand, buy a machine for a cheap price with a minimum of 5 years guarantee.

Well done, shame we already got a beko, heat added
Good spot op! I bought this machine just a few weeks ago for around £350. There is never a deal about when your machine packs in eh! Obviously can't comment on long term use but it's a good looking machine and we are v happy with its performance so far.

Because you've tried them all?
We have just had to have major repairs done to our 4 month old Samsung Eco Bubble. The rubber bushes (anti-vibration mounts) on the spin motor disintegrated. Bits of chewed up rubber everywhere inside the bottom of the machine. Apparently a known issue with a batch of the mounts ... but Samsung waiting for people to report the problem & then effect a repair.

With out them in place the noise at 1400 rpm was horrendous, we genuinely thought the machine was going to disintegrate.

We have had to have the repair guy out twice, once to replace motor bushes with a different type, and again to replace the plastic drum that surrounds the steel drum, as it was damaged by the motor vibration. That was quite some major repair work !! oO
Its fine now !! but !!

I have to say even running smoothly ... its hellishly noisy regardless.

Thank heavens for the 5 year Guarantee.

Good price OP ... heat added

An engineer is coming to see our one month old machine tomorrow. The rubber seal where the door is has somehow torn. Sorry - I don't really understand where your faults were, is it the same place?
I've had my eco bubble 3 years , no probs at all, and its on at least twice a day, great machine. You get Friday afternoon machines from everybody , but for the price and results, I'd definitely get another one.
anybody found a decent review on this machine in English?

Well, I certainly know what you sound like. Here's a clue, it sounds like a 'tick'

Ps heat added OP. Good price, cheaper than my hubby paid for ours.
Have had 2 samsung washing machines-only problem I have had was torn rubber door seal, and that was caused by clothes being trapped between door and seal,my own fault,so beware on warranty as may charge you ,as being your fault.I was lucky and did not have to pay!
Direct drive, good machine

I would never buy a beko, far too many recalls, and linked to house fires , also made in turkey, which is a no from me

Thanks for heads up. I haven't put clothes between the door and seal so not sure how this has happened. Hopefully I won't have to pay!

Edit - repair man changed the rubber, no questions or comments.

Arab washing machine burning your house down. What will these mullahs think of next ?
on the website, the model# is WF8EF5E0W4W. Is this a varient model specific to Curry's?

Otherwise it seems identical to the WF80EF5E0W4W on ao.com which has 500+ reviews, good rating, and is listed by them as a best buy.

Direct drive, good machine

Direct drive machines need to be on solid/concrete floor.
We had to send ours back after it kept dancing out into the middle of the kitchen on our suspended wooden floor.

You should always buy a 5 year guarantee with any washing machine regardless of brand!
We have this washing machine but I will never buy a Samsung washing machine again, our heating element blew on ours, I telephoned the number for the 5 year warranty who could not even pull up my details on their system as the department that deals with them were closed they promised to call us back but the call never came, I phoned many many washing repair spare stockists but was told a lot of Samsung parts are not stock items so have to be ordered in specially.
So beware if your machine goes down be prepared to go to the launderette for a while until you can get the thing repaired.

Hi, your issue sounds very different from ours, but just as worrying to be honest oO

Ours was a problem with the motor that turns the steel drum and gets upto a massive 1400rpm - its internal to the machine.

It is behaving now though, and I have to say washes very well - if not a little noisy on spin.

Since the repair, the machine is as it was when delivered from the factory, washes perfectly, spins brilliantly, plays a silly song on completion irritatingly (yes I know I can turn it off)

But it is noisier than our last machine by quite some margin. Not a big issue, but maybe for others.
We like it, I just hope it’s not naughty again

Why buy. When some confident manufacturers give 5 year warranties for free.

No. Not all, but a shoddy Samsung. What are you on about?
This is the worst combination IMO. A shoddy Samsung washing machine from a dodgy company, Currys. Currys are crooks in my experience.

These type of deals and model numbers are always specific to retailers. Reason being they don't have to price match if the model number is not the same and the spec is.
AHHH i just bought the LG direct drive on currys the other day its in my kitchen, i would of probaly saved the £100 an gone for this.
buy a dyson washing machine best out there

Yes we had to wait too ... but in fairness... the repair guy was excellent and very thorough... that said.. it should never have bust in the first place being only 4 months old
Thanks op,
Not sure if its already mentioned, but you have to register your purchase within 90 days on Samsung Website to activate the 5 year warranty.

Exactly what I did when I got the machine, but when needed 2years after purchase to be told they had no record of me on their system by an Indian call centre, who never had the decency to even call back, the after sales care is terrible I would avoid on this basis alone, the 5 year warranty isn't worth the label it's printed on, I repaired the machine myself after ordering and a wait for the part,
Lesson learnt.
