Picked up a new Samsung machine recently - Quiet af!!
Just be aware the WW80J5456, has a lower model number than this 5555, but is a higher spec machine. Picked mine up from John Lewis for £333. Not sure if the same deal is on now.

The top of these machines are 600mm which is the width of your work surface. The door sticks out another 50mm which makes the machine look fat in your kitchen.

This one apparently has a universal motor, not the brush less digital inverter motor of the 5456 version. Digital inverter motors are longer lasting and quieter.

Decided to go with your recommendation when it next goes on sale. After my own research Samsung can handle around 4kg of mixed clothes (synthetics/cotten) wash dry weight with the 8kg/9kg/10kg machines. LG can only handle 3 kg for the respective sizes.

It strange that machine can't handle the full weight, but that's life.

Just done a really big load in my 5456. Far bigger than I would have tried in my 7kg Zanssui. No problems at all, even with 1400 spin.
