1. Create an online account and Register the machine
2. Register for the 5 year warranty

Most people only perform step 1 and believe they're done.

Samsung make it tricky to register for the 5 year warranty and hope you dont register correctly.
Take screenshots of your registration as Samsung will not search their records to find your registration and you can easily be told your not under warranty when a fault arises.

Good if 12kg drum

That's always been my worry as well so I bought a Bosch instead, only 2 year warranty but a massive UK service network.
Expensive then F4J610SS I bought for £379. And it has 10kg drum.
Good price but not so good to buy one
Wish they had it in the graphite colour
JPJPJP15/02/2020 20:06

They have it on Samsung website for 379

Is it the same spec and model number?

Yep, Samsung really need to sort their white goods customer service. The phone repair service in my experience is fine but I've heard so many complaints about their white goods service.

It's out of stock
I have this, good machine, my washing smells lovely with the eco bubble function. Only downside is sometimes if the load is very heavy like a wash of towels, it doesn’t spin properly and I have to take something out.

I needed a new machine recently and went with Siemens as well after many hours of research. Bosch is the same company.

Which model did you get? I went with the one above the base model for just under £600 from Costco.

This "add wash" is such a gimmick. Just double check all of your socks are in before you press the go button.

We got the Siemens WM14N200GB for £399 from appliance city, which is probably the basic model iq300
Samsung washing machines are by far the worst machines I have ever had. The last one I had every single part in the frame had been replaced at least once. Many of them twice.

The engineer who came out the last time it was repaired said they use the cheapest parts and wouldn't have one himself.

Well I cant fault mine had it 5 years and not a problem , for all the negative reviews there will be people like myself that have not left a review because the machine has been excellent with no problems
Just pray you never have to call samsung for repairs... After nearly month I am still waiting for them to confirm if they are repairing or giving me a refund. I think they hope I forget. Well I hope it's a refund as I have got another washer. Never again a Samsung.

Every time mine conked out (which was often) it took about 3 weeks to get an engineer out.

The F4J610SS you mention is an LG, this is samsung, nevertheless good price for a 10KG and it was posted here last November for £384 from Currys, where did you get yours from at that price?

Have had quite the opposite experience, best 12KG washer owned and not skipped a beat in 6 years, they use Domex for repairs (same as beko) who aren't the best...

You should've tried Panasonic, no one seemed to be able to repair those...now discontinued though, a shame as they were really good machines otherwise..

Be careful about the Samsung washing machines. We had one and they don't last. Check the reviews and comments on line, before making a purchase.

Literally just done my samsung fridge warranty. I put I bought it from ebay though the seller was crampton and Moore. Do you think they will try to exclude my warranty been as though I put ebay on it?
No issues in the north east to NBC request a call out, always taken 2 days max and great service
Looks like it's £499 now.

Also - doesn't the 5 years warranty specifically exclude purchases from eBay?

"...always taken 2 days max...". Crikey! How many times have you had to call them out? I've had my Bosch for 9 years so far and haven't had anyone out during that time. Only looking now because my wife wants a silver one to match the fridge and dishwasher.

3 times! One was my fault but they didn’t charge me. One was pump upgrade and door seal
Had one for going on 9 years now, without any trouble. Family of four, which included an infant when it was new. (If you've never had a baby in the house, you cannot truly comprehend what a lot of washing looks like short of an industrial setting)

What I would say is that the "Eco Bubble" nonsense is just that - nonsense. Also, like many above, I've heard that warranty service can be atrocious thought I've been lucky enough not to need any such thing.

I had a Siemens machine which last year finally gave up after 10 years service - if it was one of the models manufactured in Germany you've got yourself a great machine there. Far far superior in terms of materials used compared to the cheaper £400 machines. Even a material difference in the water inlet hose.
So no 5 year warranty with this deal as its from ebay then?

It's from Crampton and Moore, not "eBay" as in a random seller. Should be fine.

Not sure why this got so hot though, for this price you'd want 9kg at least. The 8kg addwash is often ~£350 with codes iirc
