The eco kicking in. Like the start/stop system in a car
Looks like a good deal.

I was deliberating over this, and the LG here for £4 more:-

hotukdeals.com/dea…000

I ended up going with the LG primarily on the basis of reliability where LG seem to out last Samsung, but it's a close run thing.

Worth noting that both companies seem to offer a free warranty extension to 5 years - parts and labour, and also I think there's cashback opportunities with them Currys - but whether these will work with vouchers and discounts, I don't know.
Lg all the way for longer Reliability
My brother's lg still going after 10 years.
Was split between this or the LG, and went for the LG, based on spec. Although, for the money, this is also a great deal!

It’s 20£ more ?! How do you come up with 4 ? 354 vs 374

Don't know if the code got added later or if I just misread. I got the LG for £374 like you say.

Yeah it’s 20 more without Currys promotions but you can get 15 pounds off with curry’s code which makes it 335 or 10.5 percent cash back today which makes it 315 so actually 65 cheaper

Nice work.

I actually got mine from Currys and then got them to price match. I wonder if the cash back would work for that.

How's LG compared to a Bosch?

Lg is at the top for reliability,
My brother has a big family they've been using daily for over 10 years now,
Still going strong.

How's LG compared to a Bosch?

Pretty much the same:-

From Which?:-

Which washing machine brands are the most reliable?

Brand Reliability score
Neff 90%
Miele 87%
Siemens 87%
John Lewis 84%
LG 84%
Bosch 81%
Zanussi 81%
Samsung 78%
Beko 77%
Indesit 73%
AEG 71%
Hotpoint 69%
Hoover 61%
Panasonic 57%
Whirlpool 51%

Table notes

All ratings based on responses to a Which? member survey of 4,705 washing machine owners in October 2018 and use feedback on members' experiences of the brand that they own. The scores show how each brand's reliability compares to other washing machine brands. Table last updated December 2018. Sample sizes AEG 189, Beko 222, Bosch 1512, Hoover 90, Hotpoint 357, Indesit 114, John Lewis 253, LG 169, Miele 486, Neff 43, Panasonic 31, Samsung 652, Siemens 186, Whirlpool 44 and Zanussi 287. Please note, while data is shown for Hotpoint and Indesit in the tables above, we currently have concerns about how Whirlpool, the company which owns these brands, is handling safety issues regarding its tumble dryers, and are therefore not currently recommending any of its products.

Might be worth highlighting that they tested nearly 10 times as many Bosch machines as they did LG. Not sure why - but it suggests Bosch are very popular, and that you can trust their reliability score a bit more, perhaps.
