Seems like a great price for a middle range Samsung Eco bubble washing machine which scores highly in reviews and has a great load capacity and speed. 5 year warranty and 10 year warranty on the inverter motor.

£30 off code - 30APPLIANCE

(MEGA40 expired it seems)

£429 - £30 = £399

TCB if it tracks ~£10

WW 90 J 6410 CW

Took a while to figure out the numbering scheme.

WW washing machine WD Washer Dryer ?

9 is the weight in KG ,

J is the series 2015/16 (Latest are K for addwash 2016/17)

next four is the model 6410 which is mid range. Most deals are on the lower 5456 or older F series. Last two are colour CW white and CX graphite

Might be wrong but that's the best I could work out.

Excellent post, backed up with the relevant reviews.
Thanks for the post.
Seems like a good deal. The summary is definitely exemplary.

got a call this morning, they will take the old machine for free if I disconnect it. saves me a trip and sore back. I didn't tick it so might be worth noting to save a few Bob.

Hoover New wave 5 plus is dead but heavy. 15+ years service
So what are the main differences between 6410 and 5413 models? Features look almost identical to me.

Every washing machine deal, I've seen the past few weeks are for white one's, hopefully a black one appears soon

There's no J5413 so I must have confused it with the K series so the difference is the addwash comparing K and J machines.

So nearest J series is 5456 which are more expensive. FW white colour is the cheapest at £499 (with £30 off) AO.com

still comparing them

Programme time (60°C cotton cycle) Information

6410 294mins 5456 319mins

only difference I can see between 6 and 5 models

The K 9KG is £50 more at AO.com if anyone wants the addwash feature.

8kg is the same price as this deal but you get a free camera, so there is that. you could sell it on the Bay and pocket the difference.

only 400 cameras to claim so might be better calling them first

I think the 'services' costs are horrendously high, and you will be better off looking elsewhere if you need the old machine disconnected and disposed of, plus the new one fitted for you.

£10 for disconnection "This includes the tricky job of disconnecting it from your water pipes"
£25 for disposal
£25 to connect the new machine.

£60 in total !

This is a ridiculous cost for what should really be included with the cost of the machine, and only costs £40 at John Lewis - Currys put their charge on the checkout page.

Any details on the free camera offer? I can't see it on the AO website there unless I am being blind.

Ones, not one's.
I just thought I'd share my notes about these Samsung machines.

Our venerable Bosch machine appears to have died at just under 10 years old and I think, finally, I'm going to have to yield and pay for a new machine. Samsung has been on my radar for a few years now as a replacement brand, so this deal looked very interesting and well timed, the 9kg addwash model mentioned in post #7 looked to be perfect. But having read dozens of user reviews, and reviewed the manuals, I now think it is not. The reason: Our Bosch was pretty damn good except for a couple of annoying flaws, the main one of which was - when doing a quick 15 minute wash it would not spin at the full 1400 rpm, only 1200. Seems a minor issue, but when you are desperately trying to get a piece of clothing washed ultra quickly because you need it fast, you want it to come out of the machine with as little water left in it as possible so the damn thing will dry as quickly as possible. This has irritated the hell out of me, repeatedly, for nearly a decade. So I noticed that people are saying the Samsung machines will only spin a quick wash at 800rpm and the clothes come out wet! Not only that but the 9kg machine doesn't even have a spin only feature! So I wouldn't even be able to run a quick spin cycle after a quick wash, like I often have with our Bosch, to get the clothes quickly dried. How completely idiotic? And proof to me, again, that no washing machine designer has ever done a days laundry in their lives, and certainly never run a busy household!
