I've got this machine,it's fab and really quiet! It did take some hassle and ringing around to get the proof of my 5 year warranty though.

I've had this machine four months and have had to call out on the warranty for a split seal on the door, due out to repair on Tuesday so can't fault that but a bit worrying that things are going wrong already

My eco bubble door seal split after a few months too.
Warranty repair but in a kind of "tell your Mrs to be careful loading it way"

I'd have told him to do one if that's the attitude the engineer took.

We have had this at work for nearly a year, used at least 4 times a day every every day. Had broken door catch fixed and no other problems. Hot!

I just repaired a door seal on my machine. Took about 2 hours to do. it went after years of use. would not expect it to go so soon on this..

I actually sell these machines, and I make a point of chasing up customers a few weeks after installation and I can truthfully say I have never had a negative comment or even a customer coming back with a problem several months later. One of the reasons I recommend it is genuinely down to the amount of positive feedback I have had on them. So i'd love to hear more feedback from anyone here on any issues they might have had? Bearing in mind you do get it fixed under the warranty which is substantial.

Wow 8 comments in and three of them say independently that the door seals fail. Well this looks like a must buy...!

Had this machine for a year. It's been faultless and washes the clothes really well compared to my previous machine.

After a lot of research I use Ariel Actilift powder as this apparently works best with the ecobubble tech.

got one in April from Coop Electrical Direct, £349 without promotional codes. its fantastic, brilliant build quality, brilliant washing.

Heard a lot of reliability problems about these so will wait a couple of years. Korean kitchen appliances are everywhere in the East and Asia for decades so it's not like they are new to the game.

we have this washing machine brought it about two months ago so far it's fab and there are 7 people's washing for it work through.

Does anyone know if it comes in white and if so what the product code is please. I've had a look but can't workout the equivalent product. Thanks.

bought ecobubble june 2012 main board went phoned samsung up though they agreed it was registered (you register for extra 3 year warranty)in my wifes name without any email proof of that they wouldnt fix under warranty,So would have been £145 to fix that £80 parts plus labor ect
sonow its a new washer AND its not a samsung product never again

As the five year warranty includes Part&Labour so there should be nothing to worry about but h
ow many time can you tolerate a machine going faulty before you pack it in and can ask for a replacement.

Any how Currys delivery is a good package. You can schedule a slot to suit you at time of ordering unlike some....

What I don't get
1) if they agreed your wife is registered why they didn't honour the warranty
2) what happened to the email they sent your wife confirming the registration of the warranty.

these are on offer quite a bit, I would be happy to pay this, picked up mine from curry's a few months back, the 8kg one, for £369 plus £6 quidco

also had no problems at all with it

1) tried for over a week to argue this
2)had a big email clearout about 2 months ago had over 15k mails 99.5% junk i just deleted all over 18 months never thought to check, without email proof wouldnt do anything. Its put me off samsung esp after speaking to service woman meh

nobody seems to have got the price correct, 10% of 349 is 35 quid off plus the 10.5% topcash makes this £285. amazing price!

1)I am sorry to hear that. It's a shame that samsung don't keep the record.
2)If you deleted the emails about 2 months ago do the email host keep them in deleted folder, have you checked them...

If you use Hotmail they allow you to recover deleted emails from Mar onwards so say if you recover today it would be about two months worth of deleted emails might be recoverable

try by following the steps here

I suggest as a future to keep the mailbox clear regularly and create subfolders relative to the emails for eg. here it would be Currys Order or Samsung Warranty.

Wish you good luck.

Agree. WAS going to buy, not now

it says 2 yr warranty not 5?

Warranty was changed by Samsung there recently on the lower end ecobubble units. Now they do only come with a 2 year warranty.
