Well... I have never posted any deal for memory cards from China, as I was always strongly against. Seen lots of positive comments about this card from Joybuy on other sites, so decided to post here - heard that this card comes in chinese packaging but have proper speeds and capacity when tested. No problems reported after longer usage... Leaving you to decide if it's worth or not as price difference is quite significant in this case

High capacity, cheap SD cards directly from China? What could possibly go wrong? Lol
This is almost certainly going to be a counterfeit.

How do you know that these cards are fakes

The law of probability - faked memory cards from Chinese sellers, amazon 3rd party sellers and nearly all of ebay will be fake. It's just not worth the risk.

The posts about the card may be positive, still doesn't mean the card actually sold by joybuy is geniune.
Stick with mymemory/amazon/etc, for the extra few quid and peace of mind.

JoyBuy would put full value on customs declaration. Hence, ought to factor that in into price.
RM Handling charge of £8? plus tax/vat on £21?

Good price for the card. Welcome to the dark side.

Have some heat.

What if actually many people confirms this particular card from this seller is fine ? You can see picture of this card and H2testw score below:

more expensive after customs which joybuy seems to have a reputation for declaring properly

I agree, bought some cards and passed the speed tests, how can be fakes
Why would you save a few quid and endure a wait for a memory card? Just buy it new from the UK or a trusted UK source - not worth the possible grief otherwise. This is such a false economy even if it is genuine and arrives relatively quickly.

But did they pass the capacity test? That's the main concern not speed.

First thing I always do is H2testw on it, even if it's legit. If a card can get through that then it has a good chance of being fine for a reasonable amount of time. Nothing's infallible anyway.

Well that's for the individual to decide, are all reviews trustworthy, I don't know. personally I'd not want the bother and potential hassle but if others are happy to buy then who am I to tell them what to do.

If a seller has a higher probability of buggerance then I avoid, a China retailer or ebayer selling SD cards is too high a risk for me. Life's too short.

which moron's are giving this heat and helping to shift cards that are possibly fakes? that is a speedtest that muppets done, all to lead to authenticity, not a capacity test, so i call bull.

Just wanted to add that I didn't actually buy this card. I really don't have the patience to be testing things like this. I'd rather just pay a touch more and get it from Amazon knowing I can return it fuss-free. I am currently returning a stack of stuff to them as I paid for a GTX 1070 8GB from the Warehouse and seem to have received a GTX 1060 3GB - even though the box, serial numbers and physical card all look correct... I am literally stunned at what some scumbags will do to get something for free/cheap.

The thing is I have followed many posts on different sites about this card sold by Joybuy in recent months... wouldn't post this here if knew about fake cases. Like I said in description - it's for people knowledge as still many of us buys from completely unknown ebay sellers, so this will be better choice... thats all

To be clear to the op, the test on the site is a speed test, not a capacity test. there is no authenticity in that paticular image. I would steer clear of chinese sellers with the potential for FAKE CARDS.

Doesn't mean they're legitimate buyers. Chinese sellers are notorious for faking/buying reviews.

although I wouldn’t buy from China, you can’t force em to refund if anything goes wrong.
Cold, that works out about £5 per GB...

Never heard single voice from person who actually bought this card from joybuy and can say that got fake, lots of speculation. Like I said before - wouldn't post anything unconfirmed as genuine product.. They also sells 64GB version for less than £12 m.joybuy.com/329…537
