Went ot wmebley store for USB sticks and MX100 and they had sticker for this SSD priced 64.99 but no stock. Sales assistant happily check the stock in other stores and told me the store it was available so got one from that store. Maybe worth asking from local currys store.

Hot price.

Super hot deal. Which store did you buy it in?

Tottenham Hale retail park. but i think it was the last one as there is refurbishment going on in Curry's store and the store is moved to neighboring PC world so not every thing is on display in Tettenham Hale.

what is the point of putting local store offers on here, the chances of anybody living close enough is remote. what is it just cheap advertising

It isn't a local deal. Currys prices are national. So yes it is dependent on stores still having stock but it is very much a deal.

Here, let me get you started, most super markets are selling 4 pints of milk for £1. Now you can post your own deal and ensure its national.

As said above deal is national I just answered someone's question regarding the store I bought.

Also note sticker was for £64.91 and it is reduced even further to £49.91

So, just to be clear, is this 2.5' with spacer that makes it fit on desktops, or is it a 3.5' one? If it's the last one, I doubt it will fit on laptops.

Original Poster

It is 2.5 inch 7mm with 3.5 inch spacer

Original Poster

I don't know how to add image though. I can upload receipt which may make it easier for some to have stock enquired

tried using pay and collect to see if any nearby stores have it
but none in my area

but dunno if this is accurate

amazing deal, payed 90 for but worth it. fifty is amazing value

Please accept my humblest of 'invisible' apologies, I shouldn't be taking you away from making HUKD the deal site it is.
You do realise I didn't post this deal?
Also that at least this is a deal, posted on the Internet.

How about you stop moaning and go post something useful.

So nice to see you give back to the community in the time you've been here.

Just because it's a local deal does not make it any less worth posting. With the UK having 60million people, that equates to 650people per square mile on average, these stores don't locate in the middle of nowhere so the chances are there are going to be a fair few people of the national population that visit HUKD that are near this specific store or one that will have stock. Given that nearly 10,000 people are online now in the middle of the night (only 6% actually logged in/even members).

Who knows how many unique visitors the site gets per day. I'd be willing to guess around 100k unique visitors each day is a reasonable figure based on the stats available. There are going to be a few 100 people that view the site who are going to be close enough to a PCworld with stock of these drives that could reasonably consider it worth the journey.

Would buy this BUT may have bagged a better deal. Will post when goods arrive.

I was told catford and Brixton had one if that's close for anyone

You'd be lucky to find a 24 hour curry house let alone a currys.
Now where did I put that last bhaji?

The "kid" part of your name seems very appropriate, at least if this thread is anything to go by.

What is the bar code for this item?

Petrol cost there and back would add £20-£30 to the price. Idiot.

Will this work in a imac 2011?

you will need to go to a mac store and ask them for an apple sticker to be fitted for £75 to make it work.

Maybe, but Apple have pushed out a recent update that disables any non Apple-brand SSD.

I have one of these. I think its time to see how it will be in raid. Provably not a lot faster as not windows starts 2-3 seconds after my monitor

You're the one wasting people's time mate with your idiotic comments. He posted a great deal that will help others. How many people get the deal is irrelevant.

Still no receipt from OP? Has anyone actually managed to get this yet?

Banned

Wow and wow, I would buy that for a dollar.

Good to know you managed to get the last one from your local store. Hardly a deal for everyone else. Happy Friday!

Great find. Hot

Anyone else found one in a different store?

I found one but it was £120.

It will be 2.5" with a 3.5" adapter if you need it, so it can be used in a laptop

Also I'm definitely popping down to Currys during my lunch break, will let you guys know if my local one has the deal and where I am after
