Heat added, but it's sold by memory direct and not from amazon

It's a fake. Read the reviews of this seller very carefully. The negative ones are crossed out so don't show up straight away.

Pretty much all of the 'crossed out' reviews relate to the item not arriving and Amazon have taken responsibility for that

Would this be ok for a raspberry pi running 24/7 (edited)

Kinda depends on the 'version' of Raspberry Pi you're having to begin with, I guess? :-)

Eg. if Raspberry Pi 1, is your offering?, then I believe 32GB was it's maximum offering, right?

And, eg. Raspberry Pi 2, & 3, where like 64GB offerings too, right?

    And ...

That aside though, then yes, I don't see as to why not, basically? :-)

My 3 year old sandisk card developed an issue today; it recorded ok but when I went to playback on the gopro 11 the screen froze. Thought it was the camera but tried a different card and did some googlefu and problem was with the card.

    Heat added and two bought!

And there goes your reason as to why your predicament came to pass that way.

Eg. your SanDisk memory card, isn't designed for such constant write usage scenarios, basically?

    And never was.

Your now new Samsung memory card, might fair you a wee bit better mind?

All the best with your better choice, etc. :-)

Would this be good for a dash cam?
    Avatar
Not sure if this is an endurance card (you’ll have to check). But it is U3 which is good. Also, some dashcams only support cards up to 64GB so check the instructions

I just got the 256gb from argos was £22 works really well and good speeds

Which is a better card. This, or amzn.eu/d/8cORrPK (edited)

    Samsung. It's A2 rather than A1.

That said, it's a bit more expensive so it depends what you're using it for and whether it's worth spending the extra.

I'd also probably choose Samsung for their reliability but Kingston aren't bad by any means.

Will this be any good in a Samsung S8? Need to upgrade my storage

Need to upgrade your phone mate, not your storage
