I need Amazon to price match this as have a gift card.
I have filled in the tell us about a lower price?
Located under Technical Details section, on the right.
If a few people fill it out they might match the price.
Also returns etc are much easier with Amazon.

Much better value than those 64GB ones. More durable and should last longer as well due to the extra capacity.

Its a UHS-1 Class 3 and 100Mbs Read & 90Mbs Write and 10 Year Warranty from reading the info...

Why ? 128GB ones are not excluded from Samsung warranty for dash cam usage like you used to say ?

Done; taking delivery of a 64GB today but if they drop the price I will return and get 128.

eBay ones are most likely fake. I got one and it corrupted in a week.

And I can guarantee you, without any shadow of a doubt, that 99% of those cards will be fake, with either very poor read and write speeds or the capacity is actually far less than stated. But it's usually both.

Out of sheer curiosity, I have just had a quick browse for Samsung 128GB MicroSD cards on eBay and can confirm this:

There are ones for £10 less as you said, but they're branded 'Gigastone', sent from China, will have dubious read and write speeds, probably won't have the capacity they say they have, and the seller has only 30 feedback ratings, with 82.4% positive.

There are also other dodgy rip-off brands like 'Xpandisk' for similar prices.

The cheaper Samsung EVO 128GB cards I can see are around the £27 mark, but the sellers only have feedback scores in the tens or hundreds. When looking for a microSD card, especially on eBay, you need to look for tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of feedback scores, ideally with a rating of 99.5% or higher.

So yeah, buying a microSD card on eBay is actually more expensive than buying one from a reputable company. Why, you ask? Because you'll end up buying twice after realising the first one was a dud and as it'll probably be from China, wave goodbye to getting your money back.
Mine arrived today.... Only showed as 119 gig when I put it in the Nintendo switch.... formatted it using the switch and still only shows 119gig. Who knows what else about this card won't be as per the advertised description will be returning for a refund.

It's the actual formatted capacity. Completely normal. There is no need to return it.
Yes they've emailed back explaining this....consumers are there to be conned and milked for all they're worth in the modern economy.

Err, it's been this way since hard drives and other storage media were first manufactured. It has simply always been the case. No-one is trying to rip you off, it's basic computer knowledge that hard drives, flash drives, blank discs, SD cards, even old floppy disks carry slightly less capacity than what's advertised.
en.m.wikipedia.org/wik…yte

"Hard drive and SSD manufacturers use the gigabyte to mean 1000000000 bytes. Therefore, the capacity of a 128 GB SSD is 128000000000 bytes. Expressed in gibibytes this is about 119.2 GiB. Some operating systems, including Microsoft Windows, display such a drive capacity as 119 GB, using the SI prefix G with the binary meaning. No space is missing: the size is simply being expressed in a different unit, even though the same prefix (G) is used in both cases."

Erm here's a novel idea.... Could the manufacturers and retailers perhaps advertise the actual capacity they are delivering? Sacrilege I know especially in the over promise under deliver culture of IT.

A tenner saved is £20 waving goodbye. They are fake cards. Most that you find on e-bay will be fake. I have bought plent of fake cards and thumbdrives to know this. Some may even have 128gb of storage but they will fail quickly as they are very poorly made.

They will appear to be the correct size until you try accessing the data. Then you will find the data is corrupted. By the time you realise they are fake the supplier will be gone. A card advertised as a 128gb card may be a 16 or 32gb card, although will show up as 128gb in windows.
