I'm probably being a bit picky here, but I feel the cover photo should be of the 64Gb version since that's what matches the deal price - for a minute there I thought the deal was a 256Gb USB stick for £9.35 (until I read the description properly)

Worth noting there are a few fakes going around Amazon for these.

I ordered one about a year ago, packaging looked legit etc, used it for about 2/3 month it went slow then pop, contacted Samsung support and when I gave them the serial of the drive they said it wasn’t one recognised, sent it off to them and they confirmed it was counterfeit. Amazon honoured the refund.

I get USBs and SSDs direct from Samsung store now for this reason.

I’ve used these in TVs, Nvidia Shields and as SMB storage on a router. Cracking drives.

Quidco usually has a cashback rate for Samsung too. (edited)

Keep holding off on buying one of these despite receiving the alerts for them as I can't think what I'd use it for

What are some use cases for decent storage in this tiny form factor?

I guess it looks better than my thumb drive

I’m not sure if mine is faulty but these run very hot

Most of the small form factor USB sticks are the same - not usually a massive issue if you are leaving it in situ most of the time though. I had a few similar Sandisk ones which I rotated around in the car fail because the connections went brittle because of the heat.

I think Amazon have the 128gb for just over £15, and you might have a £5 off £15 spend voucher in your account

I've no idea what Samsung EPP is but this drive is 9.49 on Amazon for it's worth, so you're not really saving anything.

I have one of these in the 128gb attached to the TV. Worth to note that, yes they run hot, but they have a crazy good write speed too. They don't seem to run hot while on read though.

Got a couple of the 128gb one's for my Nivida Shields to expand their storage never had any problems with them and you get very good read & write speeds (edited)

    I still got my 256MB I bought in 2007 for £30
