samsung le40m86bd 40" lcd tv from pixmania, i am after a new telly and this one fits the bill, full 1080p, 3 hdmi inputs, ticks an awful lot of boxes. I've not posted much so apologies if this is short.

Have to use the code PIXSAMS50 to get £50 discount at checkout. Be delighted if someone finds it cheaper.... regular price with delivery is £769.00

Yeah, i'm not 100% on pixmania, have got stuff before which has been fine, but i take your point. Got my heart set on this telly though, will wait til january and see if it comes down elsewhere.

This TV is really good.. I bought this model in October when they where on offer from dixons.. This is the cheapest I've seen this tv for.. Picture quality through HD and normal sky through the HDMI lead are excellent.. Sound quality is not the best.. Hoping to see a nice home cinema system in the sales.:santa:

I don't understand the cold votes.. This TV was £30 more expensive 2 months ago and got heat of over 400 degrees..

thanks for the feedback about the sound, it is probably my only worry about the tv. This system is also on my wish list.

I have had this tv for 3 weeks now and it is very good for sd sky (with correct settings), upscaling dvd and gaming are amazing and full hd tv and dvd/bluray is awesome, however there are loads of picture adjustment settings you will need to make to get the picture right that can be found on av forums. There were problems with firmware on early models but now this is not an issue on recent models, mine came with new firmware from Dixons for around £728 including quidco and 5% voucher,I think I found it here.

Go on buy it there isn't a better lcd for this money you won't be dissapointed, I wouldn't think it will come down much more soon as Currys and Comet are around £1000 at the moment
