i.e. if you purchased on the 1st of January 2007, you need to send in the bill that is dated around the 1st July 2007, and you will have until the 30th July 2007 to do so. This is 180 days (6 months) after connection.

Instalment 2 - You will need to claim 8 months from connection and you have 30 days from this date to submit your claim. is there any chance that they will not pay up though?

There's always a chance they will not pay up... Hey, that's cashback after all....

* All Price Plans exclude Itemised Billing (Vodafone tariffs at £1.50 per month, O2 tariffs at £0.99 per month)
** Discounted line rental charged for stated period relative to handset.

First post? Not bad at all!
Heat added! Well done

great deal but beware they are complete dicks if u miss your deadline to pay your cashback and trying to get through to them takes about 30 min average on the phone.

Great deal. I've had 2 cash back deals with e2save and they've been absolutely flawless. Great CS, never any probs what so ever. Might jut do this one myself. Heat added;-)

Beware of these 'cashback' companies, they make their profit by people not getting successful claims back, and will use anything to avoid giving you the cashback - make sure you always send your claim RECORDED, as they can deny they recieved the claim and then when you re-send your claim, it is too late and you do not recieve your cashback! BEWARE.

How does this work ? I've never used one before...Do you have to pay £300+ upfront or do you just pay £1.99 p/m and nothing more ?

you pay a monthly rate each month for 12 months say about £30 making it £360 for the year they give you cashback in installments making it equivalent to £1.99.:)

Nope...You pay 35 a month and any bill for your calls....from 6 th month to 12th month you need to send 4 bills to them.... 6th month,8th month,10th month,12th month....

every time when you send a bill they will send a 87 pounds cheque back to you....

good find

Got it for almost that in December from phones4u on a 12 month contract with what I have to say are much better terms and conditions on cashback. Seeing as we're almost in April now a couple of pounds saving is not a hot deal IMO.

edit: oh my mistake it's the g600 not the u600

m2yd have a similar deal on vodafone. £40/month, 500 min, 500 texts.
11 months free so costs £40, but £45 quidco.

Thanks ashok. Just ordered. Been looking for a cheap O2 contract, and this fits the bill perfectly!

Which is better - this one Samsung G600 or Nokia 6300? Can I run routing map software on G600?

I have always been partial to Samsung but I can change my ways if one is better than other ;-)

Also, I really like Nokia 5310 Express very much (not for music but just as a thin phone). It looks cool.

Sorry, one more question (can't find the answer on e2Save site). Can I port my Virgin number to O2? Thanks.

I really like this phone it looks like a greeat deal - I though e2save were doing £50 back via Quidco??

ALso, just given notice on my current contract with o2 and asked for a PAC code so I can take my number with me. The guy at o2 warned me to be careful if I was going to a cashback deal as the new phone is issued with a number initially and this will change when my existing number gets ported over. The cashback arrangement is done on the original number and therefore I may hit a problem??

Has anyone hit any problems like this before or is the o2 guy just trying to stop me from moving?

Yes, I've had problems with cash back and porting before, I think it was dialaphone but not sure. It took about 4 attempts to get a payment back as the original number does get lost somewhere in the system when you get ported over and they don't recognize the other number on the invoice. I did get all the cash backs in the end but vowed never to do one again.

Agreed, this is probably a better deal if you're going to use this sort of amount of minutes and / or texts...

...but this comes with auto cashback of £87 after 2 months, so the amount of risk is lessened by this amount, as well as it being £10 per month less outlay p/month.

And also, just to add my experience of e2save, this will be my third contract with them. One phone that did go wrong I could drop off at the carphone warehouse shop of my choice, was offered a 'stand-in' phone, and the cashbacks have been fairly straightforward, with one payment that needed a phone call to chase up.

Gone for, thanks OP - heat+ rep+ (mine's here tomorrow before 1pm - yay!)

Hi Chringo...Hope you will get the Phone in good condition....

Hi SDS1493....The deal you said was really good....But the best thing when you go with o2 on carphone ware house is the phone comes unlocked...It is like a debranded and unlocked phone......

"You can get it Unlocked for a 10 quid...like that.....I don't like to see Orange or T-mobile screens when i switch on the phone...."

Phone arrived safely today! Nice bit of kit, but missing a few accessories.

Quidco looks to be tracking at £50, so even better deal than I had previously thought I was getting!

Thanks again!

Which accessories were you missing? Mine's down at the local Royal Mail sorting office, awaiting my collection. I'm not blaming anyone in particular, but she swears that us having a minor domestic this morning had nothing to do with the door not being answered when they called while I was out at work.

Grrr....

:-)
